Hell, LSU didn't even start pushing for Phillips until Chris Allen committed to Alabama.
What? Phillips tried to commit to Miles and for some stupid reason he didn't accept it on the spot. Probably trying not to scare off Moses and/or Allen. Orgeron was on him immediately after Miles was fired.

If you don't like me bringing facts and links to how his recruitment went down with Alabama take that up with yourself and whoever else thought it was bullshite.

Nah he just preferred LSU to Bama, even though Bama's staff lied to him about Raymond leaving

I'm involved in multiple threads on our board right now and Bama hasn't been mentioned once.

You brought a link with speculation where you have to "read between the lines" to get anywhere, according to you.

I think Phillips is better than Benton fwiw so wish we would've taken him earlier, but a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush and Benton is a good player that wanted to commit. I think Allen and Browning are the best linebackers in the class, glad we got one of them. Still like Cowan a lot and think Moses has the highest ceiling. Luckily he'll get to sit and learn for a year or two

So he was behind Moses and Allen on LSU's board? Interesting.
Seems reasonable that he was behind both of them on Alabama's board as well, huh?

Well to be fair both Moses and Allen were committed to Alabama when Orgeron took over.

oh trust me, we understand that concept when it comes to LBers
I was convinced LSU would be playing dime for the next couple seasons

I agree Allen is a future star

I mean, I guess I could have posted stuff from our insiders to confirm it, but articles are so much easier to track down than insider posts on a message board.

Perhaps. But you and I both know that if Austin Thomas was still at USCw, JaCoby Stevens would not be enrolled at LSU right now.

So, more speculation from insiders? My God, do you need someone to give you the definition of fact?

No shite. Even more of a reason to be on him but Miles didn't contact him at all apparently.

And if Saban were still at LSU Bama wouldn't sniff LA recruits.

I know your insiders don't have the best track records, but ours are pretty good.

Facts:
- Dylan Moses and Chris Allen were higher on LSU's board than Jacob Phillips.
- Ditto for Alabama's board.
- They committed to Alabama.
- Therefore, LSU put the full court press on Phillips.
How is this so hard for you to comprehend?
