Yep. Should've seen them during the Shula era. Most of them tried to hide their fandom like Bama football was some secret society or they were ashamed.

This argument is the strangest of all the anti-bammer arguments. Anybody who lived through that era in the state of Alabama and tries to say this with a straight face knows they are just a bold faced liar.
