Hard to run up the middle when the OL is pass blocking.

Luke is a good o-line coach, strong recruiter. But man that would be an awful hire for OC. Would mostly mean Hugh is offensive coordinator. I'd rather have Phil Longo, and that doesn't even really excite me. Is Longo still the consensus for most likely hire?

I agree with you. And yeah I think it's over. Longbo is going to be the OC IMO.

Why does everybody think his last name is "longbo", there's no B in his name.

I thought the rpo opened up the run game but yes it seriously hurt us when it was 3 and 1.

I'm not lying when I say I typed it wrong once and now my phone autocorrects it to that every single time

it makes linemen look terrible when they are pass blocking on a run play.

Yeah I agree. On another thought how hard could it be to find some someone better than Werner?

You realize he was fired like 4 days ago, right?

I wasn't saying they need to hurry up and do it. I was just saying he should be easy to replace.

They do though. If they know who it is, that guy needs to start recruiting ASAP

It's Longo and they've known since before they fired Werner. Friday night just fricked up their plans. Apparently he flew into memphis tonight and made his way to oxford too.

Maybe, just maybe two FCS level offensive coordinators can put their heads together and make one SEC caliber OC. Let's hope that's the case, because if not then we'll have two high school coaches egging each other one to run nose guard reverses instead of punting and we're looking at a complete and total clusterfrick next year.

I think he's just coming in to interview formally. Freeze has floated Cumbie but if you look at his salary he's currently making at TCU he's not a realistic candidate unless we offer $2M (which we won't).

Gonna be Longo. Prayers for Cam.

Yeah, i think its pretty much a done deal on both coordinators. Bet Freeze is pissed at the message board sheep herders who told everyone to watch that game Friday night. Otherwise, we would only have the stats to look at and that's just not the same as melting over the course of 4 hours.

I'm pissed at Freeze because he's handled this entire season like a bloody buffoon.

FCS stats vs. crappy Schools. What I saw on Friday was someone who couldn't adjust when the defense found out how to shut them down. That is exactly what we need now...
