Absolutely not. He'll play. But I like options and flexibility for a young QB in his first big game. So does Kirby.

You start Eason and you box yourself in.....start Lambert and you have the flexibility to play Eason as much as you want based on how comfortable he is...or rotate him out if he's struggling. No pressure.

Think about it.

Good point.

BUMP

Knowing what we now know, i just wanted to bump this thread for anyone interested in some free comedy. Or for anyone who wants to make a list of people with shitty instincts that have no fricking idea what they are talking about...

I feel like I am the big winner on this one.. I'd like to thank my parents, Jesus, and Chris Columbus... For without them, none of this would be possible.

I'm thinking that if Lambert hasn't by now separated himself enough from Eason to be the clear choice then you have to go with Eason. Why wouldn't you? If Lambert is that much smarter then wouldn't he have made the choice clear by now?

For the record I flipped from my original position above as I had a moment of clarity after meditating on the matter.

I then began to see this in 3 dimensions - as Kirby does.

My favorite faceplant here is the mosquito who chased ankles around shouting "Alex Jones! Alex Jones!" for some reason. All while claiming that it was a settled deal that Eason was starting because some vacuum cleaner salesman's paysite said so. And he believed every word of it. Blindly. Like an alex jones follower.

You can't make it up, man. Free comedy.

You can try to show where I said it was settled 100% with the lock thrown out, but I bet its just another part of your wacky imagination, which is typical of a guy who wears tin foil hates and gets his news from wacky alex jones.

Close but still a part of your imagination. I never said it was settled as you claim. Clearly, I was merely speaking from a logical standpoint, which is something you will always struggle with.

You said anybody who believed that Lambert would start didn't have current "insider" info ...and that they didn't know what they are talking about ...and must listen to Alex Jones...and be wacky.

But:
-Lambert is starting
-the "insiders" are exposed as vacuum salesman
-and you are giving the board Zika.
-mosquito boy
-have some dignity and swat yourself

I said YOU had old info as in The plan you spoke of involved Ramsey in the running, but the most recent plan did not. Overall, Insiders aren't perfect, plans change, and coaches prep strategy rationale is unknown, so you trying to act all high and mighty is as pathetic as I expected from you.

I'd like to Bump again for comedy, any of you Lambert loving communists still think he's the best option for this team or would you like to join the sane majority?

You're completely changing the thread topic now though. Weak sauce.

Worked out exactly as I said it would. Lambert starts and work Eason in as needed.

Gonna be hard for Lambert to hold his job though after tonight.

I was arguing that Eason was ready to play, Barstools and the other idiot were telling me that Lambert is an experienced leader who we are better off with. I just want to know if they want to switch sides now.

It has to be Eason going forward. I totally get why Lambert started and was thrown in there on the high-pressure series (to keep from turning it over) but he is not a QB who will win us games. His success is/was totally dependent on Chubb's legs and vision.

Seriously, if you still think that Lambert needs to play more than Eason after what we saw tonight then I'm going to have to assume you have the downs.
