Baton Rouge ain't just some "overrated cow town".

It's an over-rated Oil town?

Where is Union Road from? I know there is one band from Dadeville that plays all over the state and I know the bass guitarist, but I've never seen them. Is that them?

They were originally named Free Beer, but changed the name to Union Road...named after the road in Eclectic where they used to always practice. I don't think it's the same band... I know they've replaced band members over the years, though.

That's fricking crazy. I know exactly where that is. Grew up right next to Eclectic in Wetumpka.

You can't be "over-rated" when no one has ever rated you highly - ever.

Technically, I think you can.

Not even close

Zook beat a lot of ranked teams esp top 10 teams while muschamp got bent over and raped by them outside of 2012

And Zook went 16-8 against the SEC. His worst year was 4-4. Muschamp could only muster 17 wins in 4 years in conference play. Not to mention Zook's teams were far more enjoyable to watch.

Columbia is the armpit of South Carolina.

I could understand boasting about his new city if it were Greenville or Charleston, but not sure Columbia is much better than Auburn. Bigger? Sure. Better? I would probably pick Auburn. Of course if I rated all the college towns of the SEC, Nashville & Athens would be at the top... Starkville at the bottom. Columbia and Auburn would both be in between. But Columbia would be in the bottom half and Auburn would be in the top half, IMO.

Whats your experience with Columbia? Ever live here?

I live in the Columbia area and it isn't much of a town. I consider it a dirty river town very similar to Birmingham. It has some night life but doesn't approach Athens, Austin or Nashville for culture or night life. It isn't horrible by any means, but the campus is one of the worst of the 10 or so I have been on in the SEC. I consider Auburn's campus and town experience to be superior to Columbia, but I am obviously bias. I hate Clemson and also consider it better than Columbia.

Auburn's a fine college town.

I mean maybe if he's sitting in Athens, Georgia or Austin, Texas or New Orleans, Louisiana sure maybe throw some shade

I gump as hard as the next but Auburn isn't a bad place at all. How muschamp continues to be placed in high regard is amazing to me.

He isn't saying anything that isn't true.

Columbia >>> Auburn

I'm totally biased though; I have no business in auburn and I can read.

This is a pretty accurate assessment right here. I know because I have lived here five years.

Zook even beat Saban's LSU national championship team... with a true freshman QB. The LSU defensive coordinator was none other than Will Muschamp himself.
