Of course if I rated all the college towns of the SEC, Nashville & Athens would be at the top... Starkville at the bottom. Columbia and Auburn would both be in between. But Columbia would be in the bottom half and Auburn would be in the top half, IMO.

Nashville and Columbia are not college towns. Just like Austin, Madison, and Columbus.

You can't be serious. If he can't win with talent how will he win without talent?

Nothing excites me more than another thread of chest thumping and ranking of a few overrated cow towns.

Never been to Baton Rouge?

Baton Rouge ain't just some "overrated cow town".

Auburn is a good pit stop between Montgomery and Atlanta. Other than that, outside of the ladies of campus, it aint got nothin.

Not even close

Zook beat a lot of ranked teams esp top 10 teams while muschamp got bent over and raped by them outside of 2012

Auburn isn't nearly as "cool" as most major college towns. The night life is average at best and not a ton of "culture" either.

It is a great town for raising a family though and is growing enough to have everything you need local. Definitely isn't a "cow pasture"

Okay so can we expect Clemson not to push his shite in as a welcoming gift because Columbia is bigger and more diverse than Clemson?

Clemson didn't push our shite in last year when we didn't even have a coach.

It was a light hearted joke

Tuskegee is right down the road, baw. Plenty to do there at night. You should check it out. Really. Do it.

Skybar
Always a good time.

Let me tell you, next time you're headed to Auburn, take exit 42 and eat at that trucker stop named "Torch." It's right off the interstate. It doesn't look like much of anything, but they have some good, country meals there.

Lets be honest about Zook. Spurrier stopped recruiting his second to last and last seasons. The two worst classes in my life at Florida. So Zook had a very thin team, and had to reload almost every position. Muschamp came into a better position, with a strong defense, two top 100 freshman Qbs(both who got drafted), but offensive line issues and Wr. Muschamp didnt recruit Oline, couldnt land big time Wrs, couldnt develop two talented Qbs who are now in the pros. Muschamp was far worse than Zook. Without Dan Quinn, 2012 doesnt happen.

I like Skybar, but I feel like everyone in town goes there. It's always crowded and I really don't like too much of the live bands they have.

I'll check out that Torch.

I typically like to go when Union Road plays. I knew all of them in high-school. We used to play Poker while they practiced back in the day.

Trust me, doesn't look like much. I've eaten there a lot, though.
