Vanderbilt's record vs Auburn makes much more sense when you look at the series history.
Of their 21 wins against AU, 19 came before 1955. They've beat us twice since 1955, in 2008 and 2012 which were both losing seasons for Auburn and two "up" years by Vandy standards.
Auburn rarely played Vandy before expansion. While Bama was busy padding the stats with annual games against Vandy and both Mississippi schools, Auburns annual SEC games included Bama, Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee.

Auburn is 13-2 against Vandy since 1955
Of their 21 wins against AU, 19 came before 1955. They've beat us twice since 1955, in 2008 and 2012 which were both losing seasons for Auburn and two "up" years by Vandy standards.

what doesn't make sense is that Ole Miss and the winner of tonites game between LSU and MSU will have reached Saturday undefeated. however, one of the teams that got their arse kicked today will get a chance at a winner take all saturdat game to reach the finals. it makes no sense. here I was thinking the Rebels would play the winner of tonites game Saturday...but no. this is all kinds of fricked up. now we got to beat yet another top 5 team before we are allowed to ultimately get a little revenge and destroy state college. shite aint right. we should be kicking their arse Saturday instead of sunday.

Tennesssee losing streak vs Florida. As good as Fulmer did during his tenure I feel like when the Florida game came around he was like the coach off of The Waterboy that damn near pissed himself whenever that game came up
