what doesn't make sense is that Ole Miss and the winner of tonites game between LSU and MSU will have reached Saturday undefeated. however, one of the teams that got their arse kicked today will get a chance at a winner take all saturdat game to reach the finals. it makes no sense. here I was thinking the Rebels would play the winner of tonites game Saturday...but no. this is all kinds of fricked up. now we got to beat yet another top 5 team before we are allowed to ultimately get a little revenge and destroy state college. shite aint right. we should be kicking their arse Saturday instead of sunday.
You sound mad enough to write a letter to the SEC

Bama has always been the cream of the crop in the league- but going 3 decades without losing a game in Baton Rouge, LA still kind of baffles me, especially considering that game pitted some very evenly matched teams several times in that stretch

What's significant about State not winning the CWS in 1985?
State not winning in '85 defies logic. They had Clark, Palmerio, Brantley and Thigpen on that team. Those are four household names because of their MLB careers.
If that ball doesn't hit Gene Morgan's shoe, we're out of that inning and we beat Miami and we're in the title game with the advantage of having to be beaten twice (old format)
Here's some 80s glory for you to enjoy

Vanderbilt's winning record against Auburn in football
This doesn't "make sense" to you because you've either never heard the logical explanation for it or you've heard it and chose to ignore it.

Auburn rarely played Vandy before expansion. While Bama was busy padding the stats with annual games against Vandy and both Mississippi schools, Auburns annual SEC games included Bama, Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee.
Always making it about Alabama.

Ole Miss never making it to Atlanta makes perfect sense.
