George do I have to spell that one out for you? Dude was talking about giving a 21 year old a break for making a mistake. Carrying an illegal firearm is a mistake? What the frick were they doing with a gun on them in the first place?
I simply said how about showing sympathy for family's that have lost love ones due to the fact that there are so many illegal firearms in the hands of fricking criminals! Now do you get it???

Yeah, lots of ways to spin that gun charge.
It's a felony. Not a lot of spinning to do there.

Just announced on ESPN...
Aressted in Quechua Parish, Louisiana.
Affidavit states both players were in parked car with a possession of stolen handgun and Marijuana.
Geez. Does that mean Cam will have to give his fancy truck back?

The University may not be impressed with any excuses these two bring to the table.
On the surface, it sounds like Hootie would be alright. But he was already in the doghouse.
Cam on the other hand is probably fricked. Hard to really know without details, but I know everyone is going to pile on anyways.

Where is Disassociated when we need him???

Is the backup to Robinson a top 5 NFL draft pick?

Yea - it's a stupid mistake. They should pay the price, but owning a gun (illegal or even stolen) and committing gun violence against another human being are not exactly the same thing.

What's funny is you poor bastards thinking that something like this is gonna knock Alabama down...really?
You're smoking better stuff than they had in the car if you think that losing a top-5 draft pick left tackle won't be a MAJOR blow to 2016 Bama.
IMO, there's not one single player that would have been a bigger loss.

Boom?
Every time I see marijuana listed as a schedule one controlled substance I have to shake my head. So stupid.
My opinion on these charges depends completely on the story behind the "stolen firearms" charge. I couldn't care less if someone has a gun around marijuana (what a stupid, pathetic charge), or if someone has marijuana at all. Possession of a stolen firearm is bothersome though.

Anyone arguing losing the best OL in CFB isn't a big deal is chugging Kool-Aid. If Cam is gone we are probably going to be starting a true freshman at LT.
But at this point that's not really what is important.

They might think he is better. Saying one potential #1 overall is FAR AND AWAY better than another potential #1 overall is a stretch.
Ironically it looks like neither might taste the top 5.

No, not really. This is serious shite, if true. Being in unlawful possession of a firearm is one thing, being in possession of a stolen firearm is completely different.

However you want to spin it horse! I guess I wouldn't know because I have never owned an illegal or stolen firearm.

LSU fans want to send them to death row for this
That mentality why Louisiana is the wild wild west with all of their drugs, violence, and STDs and why young, impressionable kids can get caught up in Louisiana's ridiculousness. Not sure why anyone would 1) go to school there or 2) travel there.
Hopefully these kids learn to stop at the Mississippi border next time.

Hell no. Not the immediate one anyway. But Jonah Williams has immense talent, but he wouldn't take that LT spot just yet. Korren Kirven is the backup.
