Yes. They most certainly do.

ETA - for ITAT Puppet, who's likely never even seen AU's campus "In addition to an evaluation of core classes, Auburn will consider high school grade point average (GPA), highest composite ACT or SAT scores, and answers to essay questions."

The difference is not that high. It is typically 1 point.

Graduated from AU and have a son attending. You pulled it off their website as a consideration. The truth is that they look at the hard score, and scholarships and entrance are determined by those scores. My son had a composite of 30, but had a best score of 27. He did not receive the higher scholarship because of that. Thanks for being a "Google Expert".
