You can't even compete with Clemson, Notre Dame, Alabama or even Arkansas as of late but continue to tell us how you're so good.
Very few if any football programs across this nation respect or care about lsu

I don't think you even know what "compete with" means.

keep telling yourself that and maybe it will come true

I've no idea where TAMU ranks all time, though.

so lower than LSU. thanks

so LSU was better than TAMU, even before Saban?
Posted on 5/9/16 at 4:46 pm to lsufball19
Well LSU is like 14th or 15th all time in wins while have the entirety of LA to yourself.
If Saban had not came along you would literally be worse than Ole Miss all time.

When your top achievement is a 3rd place SEC West finish is it even feasible to call it a decline?

I don't think you know what literally means either. LSU has jumped 2 or 3 spots all-time since Saban arrived. Ole Miss is 52nd all-time in winning %

maybe A&M is just a mediocre program and always has been
Maybe trying to change that is why we spent half a billion on buildings and why we joined the SEC.

dammit man, I wanted to actually see his response
Posted on 5/9/16 at 4:52 pm to lsufball19
So you jumped from where A&M is now up 2-3 spots.
Amazing. I wish I could live in Louisiana and wear purple

so LSU was better than TAMU, even before Saban?
Let's take a look:
Before Nick Saban took over prior to the 2000 season, LSU was 610-356-47
Prior to the 2000 season, Texas A&M was 603-386-48.
LSU had 7 more wins than A&M did prior to Nick Saban taking over. Since then, that gap has widened to 53 games.

Using the wins and losses logic, you'd say Yale is literally a better football program than LSU and TAMU?
Posted on 5/9/16 at 4:54 pm to texag7
OK...you're correct, aggie IS,WAS and will be better than LSU in all things FOREVER....happy now jr. ?
Now go away and let the grown ups talk ! LOL

all-time winning percentage, LSU is currently 14th. Texas A&M is 26th. Total wins LSU is 12th. A&M is 16th. LSu is historically a better program than Texas A&M, always has been, and they've separated themselves even further the last 15+ years. You weren;t even alive the last time LSU was a bad program, so I don't know why we're even having this discussion

I never stated that A&M was a better historical football program than LSU.
My point was that the gap is far wider now than it was before Saban arrived.

Yes. Comparing Ivy League to SEC/SWC is rational thought.
