no shite, but if you want to discount what LSU has done the past 15 years, why can't we discount what LSU did between 1989-1999?

Around the time I was born you were having 2,4 and 5 win seasons.

I quite literally used your logic.

You've cited strictly wins in this thread multiple times now, have you not?

LSU had 7 more wins than A&M did prior to Nick Saban taking over. Since then, that gap has widened to 53 game

and 30 fewer losses

you definitely were not alive last time LSU won 2 games in a season.

I was 21 when they won only 3 games in a season. I was 14 the last time they only won 2.

your pre Spurrier and pre Saban comment is routinely used as ammo to discount what LSU has done before and after Saban has left, and we both know this was your intent. It's no big deal, because it's easily disproved with a few statistics.

You also said TAMU is at where LSU was pre Saban, which is untrue. Now you're attempting to say LSU was in fact slightly better, and the gap has just widened. You're moving further and further away from your original intent with each post.

why don't you tell me what you remember about the 1993 season or even the 1999 season for that matter

My original intent, that A&M is waiting for its Saban/Spurrier, is still valid and has never changed.

Unfortunately, with the way our donors work contracts, and the fact that, for whatever reason, they have an almost Stockholm Syndrome-like loyalty to average and bad coaches, we may never get there.

correct, but your current state of the program is not at the level that LSU was at pre Saban, just to be clear.

Why don't you tell me again about how I wasn't alive when LSU had a bad season?

you first. you seem to be the expert on LSU pre-Saban, so I'm just curious as to what you know about anything LSU related pre-Saban. Quite simply, you have no idea what you're talking about but like to parrot off of what Alabama fans use to flame LSU fans with. And if you were born in 1993, what are you still doing in college?

Yes. We would much rather have 610 total wins than the 717 we currently have.

Pre-Saban, LSU had a ten-year period with 7 losing seasons, a 10-win, 9-win, and a 7-win season.

The last 10 years of A&M football have been only slightly better, with 1 10-win, 2 9-win, 2 8-win, 2 7-win, and 2 losing seasons.
