LSU is one of a few university athletic depts in the entire country that is completely self-supporting.

So is Auburn and bama.

quote:

In addition, of 230 athletic departments ranked, LSU was one of only seven that relied completely on self-generated revenue along with Texas, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Nebraska and Purdue. Every other SEC school received some sort of subsidy, the least being Kentucky with $861,548.

Bama and Auburn aren't on that list. A few short years ago, the only two in this list were Nebraska and LSU.

Just trying to keep it factual, carry on.

Poor aggies.

Claiming the entire A&M System endowment as their own.

How typically aggy.

This link correctly shows that the $10.5 billion is for the entire system.

Aggies = liars

Their endowment is $1.14 billion

UT Austin's is correct at $3.4 billion

quote:

1. Harvard University: $36.4 billion
2. Yale University: $25.6 billion
3. University of Texas system: $24.1 billion
4. Princeton University: $22.7 billion
5. Stanford University: $22.2 billion
6. Massachusetts Institute of Technology: $13.5 billion
7. Texas A&M University system: $10.5 billion
8. Northwestern University: $10.2 billion
9. University of Pennsylvania: $10.1 billion
10. University of Michigan: $10 billion

I'll just see my poor arse out.....oh wait aggie is not so rich, lol. Kind of like the SMU grad $60,000 millionaires I see in Dallas, with the big car payment and the FHA loan on their pad.

And reading the A&M Foundation's explanation of its long-term investment pool, not all of that $1.14 billion is the school's endowment. It's even less.

We are thinking about purchasing LSU, upgrading the academics and calling it Blinn-Gonzales

Actually, an entire athletic department that self supports is pretty special. There are only a dozen or so in the country.

The paper used the wrong data. College Station's share of the endowment was reported at $4.69B.

Well, its always been painfully obvious that we didn't take you into the SEC due to your success in athletics.

Psi emitters were also used to lure the Zerg to Confederate worlds by the Sons of Korhal, culminating in the events of New Gettysburg.

We're required to take a subsidy because all of the other state schools would be in the red without it.
