The 2015 Top 10
Harvard University (MA) $36,429,256,000
Yale University (CT) $23,858,561,000
Stanford University (CA) $21,466,006,000
Princeton University (NJ) $20,576,361,000
Massachusetts Institute of Technology $12,425,131,000
Texas A&M University—College Station $10,521,034,492
University of Michigan $9,603,919,000
University of Pennsylvania $9,582,335,000
Columbia University (NY) $9,223,047,000
University of Notre Dame (IN) $8,189,096,000
The only other SEC Schools in the top 60 of the National Center for Education Statistics are:
Vandy 4.1B
UF 1.5B
Y'all Po.
But, I wonder about the Booster clubs' endowment. The SEC probably leads that category.

UGA really doesn't give a shite on endowment. I called up an official one time to ask about something about the endowment and they told me "we don't have one" lol. fricking pathetic.
Posted on 3/30/16 at 10:48 am to Hugh McElroy
Of course A&M is worried about how well people are endowed.

UGA shows up in 2014 reporting right at 1B, or 101st.

Democrat politicians in those states have actually expressed a strong desire to take from those endowments to fund certain things in those states.

I'm glad at least one SEC school made this list... by 3andOut quote:
LSU's was $626 million in 2015, and the LSU Foundation has plans to double that by 2022.
Pretty poor when you plan to double and still wont make the list.
And tell me, what's """""" THE LIST """"" ?? Top 15 in the country, right ??? As was in the OP ???
1.2 Billion is poor ???
LSU already stacks up pretty well with other SEC schools.
BTW, does A&M receive money from the State of Texas?
LSU does NOT.
LSU is one of a few university athletic depts in the entire country that is completely self-supporting.
Does A&M have profitable sports other than football?
LSU DOES. One of the few universities that does.
Does A&M Athletic Dept give millions to the Academic side every year ?????
LSU DOES.

And even with all of that money, you still can't buy an SEC Championship in football. How does it feel to know God hates you?

It's very entertaining at how many jimmies can be rustled just by changing an icon to a longhorn.

not compared to the rest of the conference. Congrats, y'all have a big endowment. That does not mean LSU's endowment is poor

$626 mil is absolutely nothing

prominent alums have been pushing for free tuition at Harvard for everyone. Think their endowment grew by 1 billion last year alone. That would really rustle the jimmies of other ivies

for families that earn less than than $125,000 a year. Still impressive but I'd imagine a big portion of the Stanford population come from families that earn considerably more than that
