Read the report shitnuts. Nobody allowed anybody to rape anybody. The lawsuit is a civil suit based on allegations that UT didn't do enough to stop college kids from partying.

I'll completely retract my statement if it comes out these guys are innocent, but if the 1 guy who tried to do the right thing gets jumped by his teammates with the coaches around because he helped a victim out and supported her decision to press charges, then yes, they are taking the side of rapists and helping allow that kind of action to continue.

This is from the Washington Post,"The lawsuit claims that former linebacker Curt Maggitt “admitted” the second assault in interviews with police, but doesn’t specify whether or not Maggitt was part of the assault. It says that Williams said in an interview with police on Nov. 26 that former defensive back Geraldo Orta “had told Williams that the football team had ‘a hit’ out on Drae Bowles.”

Obviously this could all be false reporting and these interviews with the police may not have happened, but if this is true, it's about as messed up a situation as you can have.

Bowles has already stated, under oath, that he was never 'assaulted' or 'jumped'.

"Bowles testified before the grand jury that led to the indictments of Johnson and Williams. He told the News Sentinel in an interview on Feb. 13, 2015, that he had given the alleged victim a ride home from the party at which the rape allegedly occurred, but that she did not mention that she had been raped. He also denied rumors that he had been assaulted."

I see where he denied it to the Sentinel, but not that he states under oath that he was never assaulted. But if he did, and the reports about Maggitt and the other guy telling police about the threats/attacks are false, then it will be pretty easy to prove this whole thing is bogus.

Why does this matter? He isn't a minor.

Yes he is 19 but the NLI requires anyone under the age of 21 has to have a parent or legal guardian sign it. Even if you are married and under 21 still require their signature. Makes no real sense to me but it is what it is.

If Boom mUSChamp and Lance Romance has not contacted him and tried to flip him already ... then they have no hair on their balls.

I would fully expect them to be in touch with him every day hounding the shite outta him to sign here and shock the world. We've got room for him.

Witnesses in Grand Jury indictment proceedings are still under oath.

But it's unclear if his denial as to that was during grand jury proceedings.

I saw somewhere he was born in 1996 and read that he left the Congo when he was 4.5 in the year 2000. I think 19 and turning 20 this year.

Is this a joke or can you share what you are smoking with everyone else.

quote:

Jonathan Kongbo is four and a half years old, and he hears gunshots. At his house in the Congo, the chubby boy runs to the front door and opens it. On the street in front of him, civilians stream past, fleeing desperately as bullets whiz and spray in all directions.

His father worked in Kinshasa which is the capital city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Keep on smoking though

Yeah that's how it's spelled - Kongo. The dark heart of Africa. King Kong is from there too. Didn't you ever watch that Blood Diamonds movie?

You know part of the reason the Dem. rep. of the Congo is behind even other African nations is because of Leopold I of Belgium. Dude was a monster in how he treated them.

That may have been when it was the kingdom of Kongo but that no longer existed by the late 1890's when Portugal government took over. The early part of the 20th century the area became part of Angola. I have seen the spelling with the K when talking about the people not the country. And even then if I remember correctly when I was in that part of the world they are a part of the Bantu tribe.

But hey if you believe in oversized primates and everything you see in movies have it.
