I just read that the poster Ashman has passed away. Damn, he was a Bama fan and had a lot of funny farks. He was only 46

Key uncommitted 5-star targets among Alabama's official visitors
AL.com | Jan 20, 2017
AL.com | Jan 20, 2017

It's the biggest recruiting weekend of the year for Alabama in terms of official visitors.
Let's break down the official visitors and where they stand with Alabama. Rankings are via the 247Sports composite.
ALABAMA COMMITS
Kendall Randolph, OL, Madison, Ala. - Four-star offensive tackle will play guard in college and just told AL.com he won't visit anywhere else.
Markail Benton, LB, Phenix City, Ala. - Four-star linebacker canceled a visit to Georgia last weekend to have shoulder and knee surgeries. It's unlikely he visits anywhere else besides Alabama.
Mac Jones, QB, Jacksonville, Fla. - Jones got a visit from Nick Saban and spoke earlier with AL.com about his visit from Steve Sarkisian.
Christopher Allen, LB, Baton Rouge, La. - Allen officially visited LSU last weekend and remains solid to Alabama despite LSU's push. We'll see if it sticks.
Kedrick James, TE, Waco, Texas - Reports have the three-star James expected to visit, but he has not yet confirmed with AL.com. He remains solid to Alabama barring a surprise.
Akial Byers, DL, Fayetteville, Ark. - Byers' coach said he was pretty sure the four-star defensive lineman was visiting. Byers' academic issues are well-documented.
ALABAMA TARGETS
LaBryan Ray, DE, Madison, Ala. - Ray is now a five-star and it's well deserved. Read an update on the 7A Lineman of the Year.
Henry Ruggs III, WR, Montgomery, Ala. - Ruggs is a five-star on 247Sports individual and it's well-deserved. 'Bama battling Florida State and Penn State here. Read an update.
Devonta Smith, WR, Amite, La. - The four-star electric receiver took an early-week official visit to Florida State. Alabama a popular pick, with LSU and Miami also in the picture.
Phidarian Mathis, DL, Monroe, La. - Alabama needs defensive linemen and wants the four-star recruit who is feeling the pressure to stay home. LSU and TCU are other finalists.
Todd Harris, DB, Plaquemine, La. - Harris' father confirmed the Alabama official visit after Nick Saban visited the four-star and his family. He visited LSU last week. Alabama could still take another defensive back. Read an update on Harris from last month.
WHERE OTHER TARGETS ARE GOING
Chris Henderson, DB, Miami, Fla. - The four-star corner is visiting Florida after his trip to Alabama last weekend. This looks like an Alabama-Florida battle.
Nico Collins, WR, Pinson, Ala. - Collins is playing in the Polynesian Bowl in Hawaii and on the same team as Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa, but as of last week, had not set up an official visit to Alabama.
Aubrey Solomon, DL, Leesburg, Ga. - The five-star is reportedly done with visits. He took his Alabama official visit last fall. Michigan may be trending with Georgia and USC also in the picture.
Jarez Parks, LB/DL, Sebastian, Fla. - Saban visited Parks this week in his helicopter as well. Parks officially visited Alabama last fall. It's unclear where he's going this weekend, if anywhere, but one source indicated it wouldn't be to Auburn, another finalist still looking to get a visit. Parks could take his decision past Signing Day.

Article about his Alabama camp performance and offer:
Alabama offers 2015 standout
Breiden Fehoko spent three days at Alabama, landed an offer before he left Tuscaloosa, and is leaving with one thing on his mind: The Crimson Tide could be the team to beat.
"It was a great three-day camp," Fehoko said. "I got to work with some amazing coaches and I worked with a lot of amazing prospects. It was awesome.
---
And I'd have to think that having Tua on campus could only help.

Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Roll Tide-ings, a rundown of everything happening in Alabama Crimson Tide recruiting, with Chris Kirschner. Today, we discuss the official visitors who will be in Tuscaloosa this weekend and a recruit who has Alabama as one of his finalists is announcing a commitment on Friday.
This is the biggest weekend of the month for Alabama when it comes to the future of the program, as the majority of the team’s biggest targets will be on campus with just 12 days to go until National Signing Day.
Let’s get straight to breaking down the visitors.

The Commits
quote:
4-star JACK Chris Allen (Southern University Lab HS / Baton Rouge, La.)
Height/Weight: 6-4/234
New national rankings: Nation’s No. 8 OLB and No. 106 overall
Committed since: Nov. 27, 2016
Has he taken or will he take any other visits: Yes
The Intel: Allen took an official visit to LSU last weekend, and, obviously, Alabama fans got a bit nervous. The Tigers are the Tide’s biggest competition at flipping him, but it would still be surprising if he flipped to LSU, even though he lives in Baton Rouge. Allen committed to Alabama knowing he would have a better chance to play right away at LSU, and he spurned the school he grew up wanting to represent. Could Allen be getting second thoughts? It’s possible, but he hasn’t said anything to indicate that he is. Expect Alabama to sure up Allen’s commitment if he has any doubts.
quote:
4-star OLB Markail Benton (Central HS / Phenix City, Ala.)
Height/Weight: 6-2/237
New national rankings: Nation’s No. 7 0LB and No. 98 overall
Committed since: June 10, 2016
Has he taken or will he take any other visits: None are currently planned
The Intel: Benton was going to take an official visit to Georgia last weekend, but he ended up canceling it because of surgery on his knee and shoulder. He is 100 percent committed to Alabama, and there’s nothing to worry about when it comes to him possibly flipping.
quote:
4-star DT Akial Byers (Fayetteville HS / Fayetteville, Ark.)
Height/Weight: 6-4/275
New national rankings: Nation’s No. 15 DT and No. 285 overall
Committed since: July 17, 2016
Has he taken or will he take any other visits: None are currently planned
The Intel: It’s been written here multiple times, but it’s possible Byers isn’t in Alabama’s class. He still has some academic work he needs to get done before he can qualify at Alabama. Byers also mightily struggled against top offensive linemen at the Under Armour All-America Game earlier this month. It will be interesting to see how Alabama handles Byers’ situation.
quote:
3-star TE Kedrick James (La Vega HS / Waco, Texas)
Height/Weight: 6-5/245
New national rankings: Nation’s No. 13 TE and No. 354 overall
Committed since: July 31, 2016
Has he taken or will he take any other visits: None are currently planned
The Intel: James has been very quiet since committing to Alabama this past summer. He has maintained, though, that he’s 100 percent locked in with Alabama. That’s evidenced by him not taking visits to any other schools.
quote:
4-star QB Mac Jones (The Bolles School / Jacksonville, Fla.)
Height/Weight: 6-2/190
New national rankings: Nation’s No. 12 Pro-Style QB and No. 280 overall
Committed since: June 7, 2016
Has he taken or will he take any other visits: None are currently planned
The Intel: Several Big 12 schools have offered Jones recently (Oklahoma State and Baylor), but Jones isn’t budging with his commitment to Alabama. Even though the Tide have Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa on the roster, Jones is confident in his own abilities. He isn’t visiting any other schools before signing on Feb. 1.
quote:
4-star OL Kendall Randolph (Bob Jones HS / Madison, Ala.)
Height/Weight: 6-4/310
New national rankings: Nation’s No. 21 0T and No. 190 overall
Committed since: July 31, 2016
Has he taken or will he take any other visits: None are currently planned
The Intel: Randolph was going to visit Florida next weekend, but he decided to cancel that trip after tweeting that he is “110 percent” committed to Alabama. It was going to be hard for the Gators to flip Randolph because he grew up wanting to play for the Crimson Tide and his 5-year-old brother really wanted him to go to Alabama.

The Targets
quote:
4-star S Todd Harris (Plaquemine HS / Plaquemine, La.)
Height/Weight: 6-0/180
New national rankings: Nation’s No. 11 S and No. 86 overall
Other contenders: LSU, Arizona State, TCU
Has he taken or will he take any other visits: Yes
The Intel: Nick Saban met with Harris, his coaches and family members a few days ago in Louisiana. Harris’ recruitment will likely come down to Alabama and LSU. It’s now a matter of if there’s space for Harris in this class. The Tide have commitments from two other highly rated safeties. The team also is after 4-star cornerback Chris Henderson, who may be higher on Alabama’s wish list than Harris.
quote:
4-star DT Phidarian Mathis (Neville HS / Monroe, La.)
Height/Weight: 6-4/287
New national rankings: Nation’s No. 7 DT and No. 99 overall
Other contenders: LSU and TCU
Has he taken or will he take any other visits: Yes
The Intel: Mathis may very well be Alabama’s top defensive tackle target if the team can’t land 5-star defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon. SEC Country was told that Mathis has a committable offer, even if Solomon commits on signing day. The Louisiana prospect has called Alabama “home” multiple times in interviews with SEC Country and he has said that he feels like the Tide have recruited him the hardest. Mathis is expected to visit TCU next weekend, but this is really an SEC-only battle.
quote:
5-star DE LaBryan Ray (James Clemens HS / Madison, Ala.)
Height/Weight: 6-4/260
New national rankings: Nation’s No. 1 SDE and No. 26 overall
Other contenders: Florida and Tennessee
Has he taken or will he take any other visits: None are currently planned
The Intel: The newly minted 5-star prospect has been a strong lean to Alabama ever since he was offered by the Crimson Tide last February. It would be shocking if Ray ended up at any school not named Alabama. The Tide rarely miss on their top in-state priority target.
quote:
4-star WR Henry Ruggs III (Robert E. Lee HS / Montgomery, Ala.)
Height/Weight: 6-0/175
New national rankings: Nation’s No. 11 WR and No. 77 overall
Other contenders: Auburn, Florida, Florida State and Penn State
Has he taken or will he take any other visits: Yes
The Intel: Like Ray’s recruitment, Ruggs has been considered a strong lean to Alabama ever since he was offered. It would also be surprising if he ended up committing to any program other than Alabama. Florida State is Alabama’s biggest competitor, and while he is interested in the Seminoles, the stronger relationships he has with the Tide staff and commitments should be enough to hold off the ‘Noles.
quote:
4-star WR DeVonta Smith (Amite HS / Amite, La.)
Height/Weight: 6-1/160
New national rankings: Nation’s No. 9 WR and No. 64 overall
Other contenders: LSU, Miami and Florida State
Has he taken or will he take any other visits: Yes
The Intel: Since de-committing from Georgia last January, Alabama has been viewed as the favorite for Smith. His relationships at Alabama trump those at the other three schools he’s considering. This could be a matter of the Tide sealing the deal this weekend as LSU is losing confidence in Smith as it focuses on other receivers.

Quick note on Devon Hunter
Devon Hunter, a 4-star safety from Chesapeake, Va., will announce his commitment on Friday. Alabama is a finalist for Hunter, but you should not pay much attention to his decision. He won’t be choosing the Tide. He ended up not taking an official visit to Alabama before making his decision and the team didn’t fight to bring him in on one before his decision, if that tells you anything.

Has anyone seen if Fehoko can play immediately? Is he a grad transfer? I know he's only been at TT for two years.

Daniels also holds offers from Notre Dame, Michigan, UCLA and USC, among others.
Currently the 247Sports Crystal Ball reads 50-50 between the Fighting Irish and the Trojans.

Last season, Daniels passed for 4,849 yards and 62 touchdowns to just six interceptions.

Moses is not a 5 star running back. Hope he enjoys the view from the bench for 3 years before he transfers... Louisiana folks will remember he turned his back on them. Bama folks wont care about him once he's gone. He's going to regret committing to Bama.

There are a couple of articles out there about him announcing he's tranferring, but they have no details about why or where to. They said he started two years, but sat out the last five games, with no explanation of why. He was recruited heavily by BYU, per one of their boards. He has a relative playing at USC according to this article:
