Yeah LSU defense will be terrible. Offense will be terrible. ST will still be terrible. No chance the team will even win a conference game. Tiger Stadium is a joke. No team ever will ever be as good as Bama. Ever.

So....if everybody doesn't jump up and down and say LSU will have the best defense in the country and Alabama will be terrible then they are wrong? Who said LSU will be terrible? Did I miss something? All anybody is saying is don't EVER count Alabama out. Crap, if everybody doesn't say LSU is the greatest team ever, our opinion is wrong?

Why do I think I've heard this before?

May be Bammer logic but that just proves that Bammer logic is reality.

I call it like I see it. Alabama has proven it has a winning formula. I give credit where credit is due. UGA has not earned it. LSU has not earned it. Nobody has earned it like Alabama has.

I'm not an Alabama fan....just a realist. Doesn't mean you won't fall. You will, eventually. But until you do, you are king of the hill.

Let me get this straight.....don't they do this every year, and beat you every year?

I'm trying to understand the level of ignorance we are dealing with here. It's amazing. Until you beat them why don't you just assume they will be fine?

I LIKE LSU, but crap. You guys do nothing but talk crap about Alabama and then they beat you again. Then you start threads about how you are going to beat them next year....then they beat you again. I guess sooner or later you will get it right.

Exactly.

They think they'll be fine. In for a very, very, rude awakening
lol. Even if we take a step back in run defense we are still going to be the best run d in the sec, and by far the most dangerous pass rushers. Foster had become an incredible linebacker and will follow ragland as yet another best linebacker in the country from bama. I see no dropoff at that position. Our secondary is going to be better overall

Very rational thought. It seems that LSU has so much hatred towards Bama that they can't see things realistically. The hatred started when we hired Nick Saban and it escalated to new dangerous heights after 21-0. I have no problem giving teams credit where credit is due. Bama seems to reload every year even when it seems they may have a down year. After 3 or 4 years an intelligent person would look at that pattern and think to themselves...."Hmmmmm...they may be just as good next year or even better than they were this year." Only less intelligent people will look at that pattern and say "Oh they are going to SUCK next year." That's either blinded by hatred or they really aren't that smart.

As a Bama fan I believe we overachieved this year. I never expected us to go all the way. I hate TN but I'm smart enough to see that they are headed in the right direction and I'm expecting a fight next season. LSU is unable to be objective when it comes to Bama. Their hatred is crippling reality.

No joke.
They will be good but I don't know how you assess the loss of Kirby Smart just yet. May not skip a beat but he could be sorely missed.

"think" being the key word. This past year's group was as good as any. But, they did give up a bunch to Clemson. Some say it was due to Kirby's distractions with the Georgia job. Who knows? But, they fit Kirby's system because he recruited them. Is Pruitt going to use them in the same way or make them fit his system?

It's kind of like the Vols vs Florida in the 90's. The Vols were good....but Florida was better. I guess it's sucks feeling like you have a championship caliber team but there is 1 team standing between you and glory that you just can't shake!! It's like you're starving and your feet are somehow bolted to the ground and there a plate of food 30 inches away but your reach is only 29 inches.

This defense will not miss a beat with Pruitt. Pruitt probably does a better job of defensing spread teams. Kirby may do a better job against pro set type teams. The key is Bama is still the most talented team in the nation.

Do you think it was Kirby's system but not Saban's?

Can't disagree with this.. You can never just say Bama won't be as good next year. They truely don't rebuild, they reload. I don't understand how our fans can be ignorant and think they will fall.
