LSU's defense is gonna be better than Bama's. Both are gonna be top 5 defenses next year

the thing is, when these guys return they get BETTER.
i believe Bama is developing players at a higher rate than most any other program in the conference right now.
particularly on defense, you look at this past season:
Ragland got better
Allen got better
Eddie Jackson got better
Reuben Foster got better
Jarran Reed got better
Ryan Anderson got better
Tim Williams got better
Cyrus Jones got better
All these guys stepped their game up another level.
When I look around at some of the other programs I dont see the same level of development of their talent. Robert Nkemdiche became a RB, great job there. The LBs at Auburn seemed like they got worse. Did anybody on LSUs defense have a stand out year? Is aTm ever going to develop a defense? Hargreaves looked like he got worse.
What program is developing their players better than Bama?

Foster was the "play caller" per se this year. He communicated most of the calls to the defense while Reggie was given the freedom to change them as he pleased.

Let me get this straight.....don't they do this every year, and beat you every year?
I'm trying to understand the level of ignorance we are dealing with here. It's amazing. Until you beat them why don't you just assume they will be fine?
I LIKE LSU, but crap. You guys do nothing but talk crap about Alabama and then they beat you again. Then you start threads about how you are going to beat them next year....then they beat you again. I guess sooner or later you will get it right.

I was looking at the 247 player rankings and saw where Bama has 18 ( 5 star ) and 49 ( 4 star ) players on the roster this year. Out of the 18 ( 5 star ) players, Bama loses 2 ( Robinson and Henry ). That leaves 16. Add in the 4-6 ( 5 stars ) that Bama will sign this year. That will leave them with at least 20. In comparison LSU has 5 ( 5 star ) and 42 ( 4 star ) players on their roster. Anyone who believes that Alabama will not be just as good next year as they were this year is living in a dreamland. Next years team will be Saban's most talented team top to bottom.

Yeah LSU defense will be terrible. Offense will be terrible. ST will still be terrible. No chance the team will even win a conference game. Tiger Stadium is a joke. No team ever will ever be as good as Bama. Ever.
