So overall SEC west would have many less appearances, UT many more.
And that would have been fine with me. Tennessee and Florida played in September every year during the '90s. How can a game played that early in the season be an accurate gauge of which team is better? Teams are often completely different from the start of the season than they are in late November, early December. If you remember the Phil Fulmer teams in the '90s, they always played much better later in the year than they did in September. Is it a mere coincidence that the one time Tennessee and Florida played each other late in the season (2001) when they were at the top of their game, Tennessee was able to win? If that game was played in early September, Florida would have won easily. So yes, Tennessee and Florida should have played in the SEC Championship Game multiple times during the '90s.

We really need to get back to 10 team conferences.

Or maybe two 10 team divisions with the winner of a CG getting the berth in the playoff.
Round-Robin play is obviously the best way to determine a conference champ but having big TV markets is the best way to get money. Guess which wins?

Huh?No we don't...the SEC would be way behind the Pac 10 amd Big 10 revenue when it comes to revenue and exposure and would ultimately result to a lesser product on the field.
