Well, yeah. But Duke people are like smart and rich and shite. Judge's ruling: it counts.

This is a quote from Brown's mother. I love Bama's chances now.

I didn't see anything about a "business decision" so

It's a little too close to call right now. UGA mods seem to think we trail. I won't pencil him in at all just yet. Could be Kirby's first true test.

You literally have no idea what you are talking about.

Hubbs is BY FAR the most conservative moderator out there in terms of saying when TN is leading for a player.

247 not nearly as much, but our Rivals guys are on point.

Agreed, they are very conservative. That being said, neither Hubbs nor Paul have said Tennessee was the lead for Brown. Just that Tennessee had some momentum and that it had become a UT/AU race after Kirby ignored him for a week.

Looks like VQ has info that since our DC change we are now in 3rd.

Like I said when they get info that isn't pro TN they don't sugar coat it.

The battle looks to be somewhat uphill for Derrick Brown these last few weeks. From talking to several people connected in the SEC, Auburn feels good about where they are after Brown and his family visited the Plains this past weekend.

Georgia is up next and they will have a smaller number of official visitors in this weekend so look for them to put on the full court press.

Tennessee is still scheduled to receive the last visit for Brown, but it does sound like they will have to make up that ground.

Sounds about right, to be honest. I don't know if UT is a serious contender with the relationships DB has with Rocker and Garner. My .02.

I think about 3-4 weeks ago things looked good for us due to the changes at UGA and Auburn but then we made changes of our own and that was the only thing keeping us in the top 3

Hopefully he still makes the trip next weekend as that at least gives us a punchers chance.

From what I have been told, it's a two horse race between Auburn and UGA. Tennessee hurt itself by letting Jancek go and, quite frankly, they have the most imposing DL depth chart of the 3 options.

He had an interesting quote the other day somewhere about how his visits were scheduled. Basically said that his mother set the visits and she chose the longest two (Miss St and UT) for first and last. Reading into it, it sounded like the longer visits either affected her job or she had trouble traveling, so she wanted to spread those out as much as possible.

True, but in this case glad we chose the elite coach instead of trying to get 1 elite player.

Well and DL isn't a position of need for the Vols. UGA and Auburn need more linemen (UGA arguably moreso than Auburn)

I think people are vastly underrating Mississippi State's involvement with this player.

I'm not saying that I think we get him, but there is certainly a chance.

Another recruit who talked with him during his visit to Auburn last weekend said he thinks the kids decision will come down to Auburn, Georgia, or Mississippi State. This other kid did not even mention Tennessee
