Recruits have to all but tell hubbs they're commiting to UT before he'll ever come out and say that he believes Tennessee is in the lead.

Two of the best in recruiting. Big mistake by Fulmer & TN letting Garner go

Tennessee hurt itself by letting Jancek go and, quite frankly, they have the most imposing DL depth chart of the 3 options.

I like Jancek but frankly it was time. Looking forward to Shoop, the production he got from his D at VU and PSU w/ the talent he had to work with to now having loads of talent and quality depth I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited.

Great talent never concerns itself with depth.

Now about that O

No maybe's to it at the time he was TENNESSEE's best recruiter.

Well past his prime?? Okay Don't be butthurt cause he left for the plains.

2013 BR had him #7 of 10 Power Ranking 10 Best College Football Recruiters of 2013 Class

Crabtree had him in his Top 10 2014 ESPN Ultimate Recruiters

The Barns Craig's another

While at UGA, he fell asleep in recruits homes and scheduled visits to campus during times in which no coaches were on campus. And his lines were above average at best.

Ask Auburn fans how they feel about Garner since he returned. Rocker has been demonstrably better at UGA.

ETA: And do you really expect me to buy into anything recruiting related that comes from BR or ESPN? C'mon man.

Surprisingly our d-line showed a great bit of improvement down the stretch and he and Craig pretty much singlehandedly held our class together when it seemed like the world was falling. Despite the wailing and gnashing of teeth over hiring him he's been pretty good.

Are you serious? We're happy he left. Most AU fans will tell you that he's nothing like what he was at UT or the first half of his tenure at UGA. We definitely upgraded with Chris Wilson and then Rocker.

Yeah, Auburn fans were cryin' when he brought in Adams and Lawson

Ask Richt and Malzahn how they feel

Quick search yeah sure throw out BR & ESPN pull up whom ever results will be similar. C'mon man

Garner isn't terrible now, but he's past his prime. I wouldn't want him at my school as RC.

Three posters and a thread full of Auburn fans disagree with you so you just post gifs (and a really jacked up attempt at quoting my post?) without defending your claim other than to say Garner was the reason Auburn got two players that have either been hurt or just average since arriving.

Wonder what kind of gif you'll post in response to this.

Except the thread you posted didn't really support your argument

Oh, did I hit a nerve?

Three posters? A whole three? wow. Thread full? The thread provided was a mixed bag. For more accurate results maybe you or porter should create a poll

Garner may no longer be young and spry or an elite recruiter but you and anyone else here who believes he is not still a good recruiter are naive. Adams and Lawson, among the many other elite talent he recruited for TN, GA, & AU were #1 and a Top 5 in their class respectively. Injuries have held back Lawson and Adams may have yet to reach expectation it's nothing new (and has zero to do w/ Garners ability to recruit) elite players all over the country bomb or succumb to injury it happens.
