Okay? and Mcleroy was riding Julio and Ingram's coattails. See how easy that is?

I'll rank them:
1) the guy with 3 Natties (1 as RSFr, 1 as SO, & 1 as JR)
2) the guy with 1 Natty
3) the guy with 1 SEC title
4) the guy currently improving week by week with chance at SEC and Natty titles
5) the guy who refused to keep it in the field of play after throwing a late first half pick six against Miss State in 2007

He is tough, but so was JPW. In one of the LSU games I don't know how he kept getting up and going back to the huddle after their D teed off on him so many times. He took more hits than any other QB so far during Saban's tenure.

McElroy played against the #1 Florida Gators, possessors of one of the best defenses in college football and winners of 20 straight games, and picked them apart.
Amazing how one game can seemingly change a fan's whole perspective on a player's season. He was average at best that year and his only real saving grace was he didn't turn the ball over or take sacks because he could throw the ball away. Yes, that's an underrated skill, but it's not all a good QB needs. He had no touch on his passes, couldn't throw a sideline pass past 10 yards, and Julio's verticality and riculous athleticism/strength were wasted with McElroy because he couldn't throw a jumpball.
I love McElroy, but the only thing you can give him over Sims is his natty. And if last year's Sims was the QB that year, it wouldn't have ended any differently.

He was maybe an average QB in terms of talent, but he was an incredible game manager. Very high football IQ. People act like "game manager" is a derogatory term, but it really isn't.
Mcelroy had plenty of big throws, and conducting many big drives during his time at Alabama.

This.
McElroy was by far the most developed at the business of the QB position. It's not even close either. AJ had the best balance between polish and athleticism. Blake was just sthleticism, Kiffin basically ran the offense from the sidelines.

God I hope so.
