Why is it that we can't open up any shots besides 3's. It seems we only score inside or 3 pointers.

Pretty much the story of our b-ball life post-Cliff Ellis, it seems.

It's not just an auburn thing... mid range jump shooting is a dying art. Statistically, it makes more sense to either shoot a three or get it inside

This Xavier team has won every game by 10+ and have played top 25 teams. I don't see why we are bad because we became another blowout on their record

It is like people forget that Canty, Lang, Tahj and a few others were banged up. Purifoy is benched as well

I agree totally. Once again Dunans did not help out much and Harris as well.

We might as well forget about Purifoy for this season. The excuse that we would be better with him is valid but that doesn't change the fact that he probably won't play this year.

The big issue with Purifoy out is that Lang and Bryce Brown both have had some injuries. Completely thrown our wing rotation out of whack.

Also, I shite on Jordon Granger more than anyone but I'd rather him than Kobe Bowers

Ill frick your pussy if you keep talking about Kobe my childhood idol like that. For now on, it's "your majesty"or "the greatest" when referring to him.

This is why we run through so many coaches. Auburn fan expectations are absurd. I think Pearl's goal for this season was .500 basketball and you guys expect a tournament appearance

No, I was just hoping for a nice season. They're under-performing, I know that much. Purifoy needs to stop practicing with the starters if he's not going to be there. It's not looking good. NCAA instated that retard for Kansas, but they're leaving Pearl hanging until January.

We definitely show inexperience and inconsistent but our record is pretty much what we should expect for this point in the season

Ya, we blew it vs MTSU but our other two losses should have been expected. Xavier is getting final four hype right now and Colorado has won 21+ 4/5 years and will likely get 25 by end of year

We have lost to
Colorado (10-1) RPI #12
Xavier (11-0) RPI #1
OT loss MTSU (7-2)

How have we underperformed to this point? I can't wait to hear your logic on this.

Are you at practice?

I'm not sure how many times it has to be posted that it's the ACT and not the NCAA that's withholding him.

The huge turnover of the roster due to Pearl bringing in real talent has had the consequence of inexperience and lacking fundamentals. They haven't had the time to be properly coached

We don't have an identity when facing quality opposition. What happens when you are missing every major player other than retard Bowers

Anyone see that Daymeon Fishback is a SEC Network basketball analyst?

Saw him yesterday on with glen davis... fishback was one of my favorite players as a kid... but not sure what to think of him on TV ... I'm sure he'll get better

Didn't pay much attention to him because Glen Davis looked way too ridiculous. The Big Baby looks confused, his mouth is perpetually open, he looks too excited like someone is offering him some cake.

I don't know to laugh or not

Xavier is really good. We had some bright spots though. There were many times we did a great job denying the post entry.

Canty is a legit all conference. Problem is everyone else is a role player at best. It would be nice to see Purifoy because it could give us a second player who can create his own shot. Then Harris can play more of a distributor role.

Obviously, Bowers is maddening to watch. But, Spencer drives me crazy. His body language is constantly whining and he doesn't play smart. He can't stay on the court because of all the needless fouls. I know he's only a few games into his career, so hopefully he'll mature and play smarter. He's got an incredible motor and tons of athleticism, just needs to refine some post moves and he'll be all conference too.

I'm excited for the season. This will be a test for Pearl in molding these guys into a post season tourney team.

Bryce Brown is the most frustrating to watch on the team. He is the ultimate "wait until it clicks" player. Looks great until it bricks off the back rim

It makes it worse than Lang is injured and no one else resembles spot up 3 shooter If we had someone who could hit a spot up 3, the 1-3-1 Xavier used would have been crushed. We weren't lacking for good open looks, just players who could take advantage

Mercer beat Arkansas tonight so that makes our win last week look a little better, granted Arkansas isn't as good this year.

Mercer has won at least 12 reuglar conference games in past 4 seasons, they'll finish the year as a RPI top 100 team if they keep that up.

Colorado, UAB, MTSU also are looking good so far this season and should be able to make runs in their conference

No it doesn't. That makes no sense.

I get that people love making definitive statements, but no. Just stop.
