We played a big time schedule and early on looked like we could hang until AU bball rapture happened.

It sucks how season played out but I am still extremely hopeful for the future. I think next year's team can at least be an NIT type team with a shot at the Madness if they stay healthy. It's crucial we find some help for Spencer down on the post. If Reed can at least contribute and we get a solid grad transfer I will feel a lot better.

Now 2017? Davion Mitchell & Austin Wiley are actual 100% NBA level players that give us a chance to make some serious noise in the SEC and possibly tourney. I can only dream of a team that trots out Mitchell, Heron, Purifoy, Spencer & Wiley

Just have to stay patient with Pearl and hopefully he stays patient with AU. He has laid the groundwork for success now just have to exectue. The thing that made me the most happy about this season was watching Bryce Brown & Horace Spencer develop into SEC players. Those guys are going to be key cogs moving forward

Pretty sure if I stood in the corner and didn't turn the ball over I would be better than Kiem

I actually saw some talent and confidence in Allison...not sure what happened there.

allergic to playing defense

He had scholarship offers out of high school but wanted to give SEC ball a chance for a year and see how things went. I can't blame him for wanting playing time and a scholarship. If he didn't get minutes this year with our situation at pg he was never going to get it with what we have coming in.

Could he have been that much worse at D than Kiem turning it over at half court?

Read article about that in the paper.

If they offer, he should take that in a heart beat

If Person goes to UAB, I wouldn't mind seeing Tony Jones come back.

It'd be a good hire for them IMO. They've had the best luck with coaches that don't have HC experience. And with two big names in the state like Bruce Pearl and Avery Johnson, it'll help to have a name that's at least locally recognizable.

I hope Chuck gets it as he definitely deserves it. He's been a great ambassador for Auburn and will continue to be whether he's coaching here or not

I think they're gonna hire TJ Cleveland, Arky assist coach....he's a Bham native and will bring back 40 mins of hell. I played against him in HS

I like Eshan or Cleveland for UAB. I think they could go a lot of different directions, though.

I think Chuck to UAB is a bad move for them. Just don't know if he is ready for his first HC position given his very limited NCAA experience. I remember articles talking about his adjustment from NBA to CBB. Don't know if only 2 years is enough to run all faucets of a college program

ETA: I think he will be a good HC, just needs more time and to see real sustained success at AU

Maybe he just needs a good plumber if all the faucets won't run.
