feel really bad for him.
Can't catch a damn break.
Was he sleeping with his mouth open, those pills just magically fall into his mouth?

Pretty sure most athletes take tha roids. You don't get that jacked without them (not saying Greier is jacked, but look at most of the LB's in this league -- not natural). These guys have guns bigger than most pro bodybuilders.

Not sure if germans but one of the ESPN's talking heads had a former enforcement official from another school with multiple yrs in the business & he said that 1) it was an NCAA test he failed, not a Fla test and those are mandated once a yr formally & then once again unscheduled. 2)he also said it is calander yr suspension, meaning he will miss the first 6 games of next yr, too.

So I guess that moves UK to the top of the east.

But you also don't want to turn in to Charlie Strong and run off every good playe
Thing is, he didn't have any real good players. The best players on his team right now are everybody that he recruited.

No excuse. These kids know to check any OTC substances out with their strength coach. Hell, Coker even quit doing Proactiv.

It's 2015 bro. Everyone's a victim.

The comparisons to JW's punishment are not really fair. The NCAA/NFL is always much tougher on violations regarding performance enhancers because (obviously) these violations can have a direct impact on the games.

Also reading it's a year of eligibility on top of that- so he's a RS Frosh now, but next season he's a RS Jr. Which admittedly seems insane

seems that way, wins this season he played in should be vacated, or at least the wins since the test was done.

if it came down to one game being the difference, the commissioner's office might get involved, otoh, the last thing the SEC would want after the last two years with Mizzou in ATL, is for Kentucky to rep the East..

Well, to be fair, Bama loses so rarely that using one or two excuses will suffice for us.

Given the increases in size and speed for many of Florida's players, I wonder if the team has been feeding PEDs to a few of the players.

Feel bad for Grier, but he certainly should've taken all precautions and counseling from the team's medical staff before taking anything. Feel much worse for the rest of the team and the fans, this really sucks.
I heard something interesting on one of the Gainesville sports talk stations late this afternoon - the host said that Grier had put on 43 lbs in the offseason. I thought he looked the same size this year.

Don't know why that would get old for you, we haven't had to use any of those for LSU in a pretty long time.
And it will continue this year, and next year, and the next year...
