Dammit ... correction made. Had the wrong glasses on when I read it online and the damn print on their website is so small.
Arggggggghhh - getting older is not for sissies. I swear I am going blind sometimes, even with bifocals. Never had to have them until after I turned 55 but it has been progressively downhill with the vision since.

Not sure how far back this goes but the SECn stated we were 9-1 in our last 10 road OT games.

South Carolina won a big road contest at Ole Miss on Saturday night to improve to 17-1 on the season and according to Jerry Palm of CBS Sports, the Gamecocks, as things stand today, project as a No. 5 seed in the 2015-16 NCAA Tournament.

Some fun facts:
quote:
@AroundTheSEC
Texas A&M and South Carolina have a combined 3 losses. Less any other #SEC team (Kentucky has 4).
quote:
@JonRothstein
South Carolina's Michael Carrera has already made as many FG's (70) as he did all of last season. Has made double (24) the 3-point shots.

Everyone should take a look at this article by Zac Ellis from Sports Illustrated: Now in his 4th season in charge, Frank Martin has turned South Carolina into an SEC Contender

Wow ... very nice article, well written and complimentary. Great header pic too.

Yea I was surprised it wasn't by Andy Staples. He's usually the guy at SI writing positive articles about our programs

For those continuing to hear about our weak schedule, I have decided to do some research. Hear are my findings:
#1 Our SOS is at 151 on Warren Nolan. Most people will look at this site or ESPN but ESPN has us closer to 200 so troll obviously will go with that.
#2 Our SEC schedule hurts our SOS just as much, IF NOT MORE, than our OOC games. Proof: 7 of our 13 OOC games were against teams that have higher RPI's than some of our SEC comrades ie State and Missou.
and #3. 4 of those teams have higher RPI's than Mizzou(who we play twice), Tennessee(who we play twice), State(who we play twice), LSU and Arkansas.
The fact of the matter is that because our RPI is so high, along with aTm, Kentucky and FL to give them their due, the entire rest of the conference's SOS benefits from playing us while harming ours in return.
Just thought you should know should you run across the troll thread of the day.

Big game on the road tomorrow, I was happy splitting this week but I'd much rather go 2-0.

We suck.
Not sure why Frank didn't go back to Silva early in the second half. He was our best player in the first half and then sat on the bench most of the second half as UT pulled away

Yep just not a very good basketball team right now, pretty obvious. Offense has regressed mightly.

We have a lot of good players, but don't have that one guy to create shots and score when the rest of the team struggles offensively. And I don't know what Thornwell's deal is. He has been non-existent in our last three road games.

Yeah, we just have a lot of issues right now.
- Not a great FT shooting team
- 3 pt shooting's been abysmal
- We don't defend the 3 ball well
- Haven't had great PG play lately
- Your most talented player is 2-23 in his last 2 games
- Turning the ball over way to much
The good news is that we have State & Bama at home this week. Both very winnable.

He needs to be the guy who can take over a name and shoot well. But he simply doesn't have it. There's an overall lack of compete with this club right now, save Silva and Carrera.
Not a Frank team at all. Teams are eating us alive on the glass and behind the arc. Hopefully some home games will be a cure.

Michael Carrera moved past 900 career points in the loss, and now needs just 81 more points to join Sindarius Thornwell in the 1,000- point club this season.

Sin is from my hometown and I have watched him since he was 12 years old playing middle school ball, and I have never seen a stretch of games like this from him. He is not aggressive at all, doesn't look to score, and if he misses a few shots, he's done. I hope he gets it back, bc right now, he is a shell of himself.

Not sure it'll ever happen, but I was asked about helping choreograph for the CG's if we make it to the finals of the dance.
Let's just say y'all will not want to miss it.
Gives a new meaning to dirty dancing. Listen to the song "Get Ugly" (I assure you it is not referring to physicality) and you can imagine what it's like.
