Yea Oklahoma is smaller than Texas, so that's unfair. Maybe more like Oregon since they pretty much have all of Washington too.

so since I didn't go to LSU I'm not considered an LSU fan? even though I had season tickets for 6 years and everyone in my imediate family went to LSU and the only school I cheer on with a passion is LSU

EXACTLY! I don't know how that Aggy can claim to be intelligent when he cant even understand this very, very simple to understand concept.
Since when do you have to attend a school to be a fan of that school's athletic program???
I don't know... maybe it seems so simple to me to understand because I did in fact graduate from LSU.
A fanbase is not inclusive to just alumni and students alone but I guess when you've supported the Aggies all your life you don't know any better. The only other Aggie fans they know went to school there. Outside of alumni no one cares about their program!

I personally haven't. I see what youre saying though but no, just because they have a bunch of sidewalkers as fans doesn't make them any less passionate of a fanbase.

This is priceless.
FWIW I think LSU is in the right spot. A&M is too high based on home record the past several years. A passable defense will get the home crowd fired up again, hopefully real soon. But Texas at #4 is just crazy and calls into question how much football the author actually watches.
