What's cringe worthy? That I don't believe aTm has a top tier fan base?

So a 50k student population school automatically means there's a large fan base. In a state with plenty of other large schools that are also very well known. One that has probably the highest amount of sidewalk fans in the state.

Texas is at about 55k according to Wikipedia, yet I'd venture to say they have triple the fans aTm has

While aTm does have a very large fan base they are certainly not "top tier." Quantity does not equal quality.

From a 2011 NYT article..

I've already said I think the aTm fan base is too small to be considered top tier. Regionalized fan base and probably 2nd largest fan base in Texas. I think yalls fan base is great. Dedicated and loyal fans. I just don't think it's top tier.

I'd categorize yall on the level of, say, Oklahoma state.

That's different than the angle that cas4t is trying to troll with. Your point is much easier to argue. Cas4t is trying play the Rant on hard mode today

Look ALL of Ohio loves OSU. 2/3 of Alabama love the Tide. ND has a gigantic following. LSU has an entire state.

I just don't think student population =\=large fan base. I think an alumni dominated fan base is great and something to be extremely proud of though.

They're probably about even in size, with a slight edge to A&M based on enrollment and Texas population vs Louisiana population

I just don't see a presence outside of Texas with aTm. Texas is a large state, I'll give yall that.

If you disagree with my opinion, that's fine. I could be wrong, that's fine too. I just don't consider yall top tier. Sorry
