Eveyone in this thread is making fantastic arguments for why Shea should come to Bama. We devolop high school QBs. Run a very nice pro style offense that translates well to the next level. Plus he will be in competition for titles every year. Plus we will surround him with better talent then anyone in the country.

Clearly Shea's best option is Alabama.

Few yds, more interceptions, lower completion pctg, more sacks, really stupid, costly mistakes.

How is that NFL thing working out for Saban QB's?

Pretty good. AJ and Gmac were both drafted and paid a lot of money. Sims will be drafted. Shea is better then all them so figures he would be drafted higher and paid more after three years at UA.

His last two both drew NFL paychecks.

Well really three. JPW wasn't recriited by CNS but was his starting Qb for two years.

When you are making a comparison the term is THAN.

When you are making a reference to time and position the term is THEN.

To quantify this, Bo's adjusted QB Rating dropped significantly in 2014 compared to 2013

2013 = 72.1
2014 = 56.9

His RAW QB Rating went down about equally from 63.4 to 45.5

Nothing else on the RB, as far as total post count, is even in the same vicinity..

Glad to see you agree with everything I posted. Alabama is without question the best landing spot for Shea. If he likes winning and making money he will come to the Capstone.

The point I was making is that if you're a top 3 team in the country, in any sport, you have depth. Depth is considered in any prediction/pre-season ranking, etc..

to say injuries took you from being a top 5 team to being 9-4 and getting blown out in a bowl game is outlandish. Again, the #3 team in the country should have a second string that can compete with anyone. Teams like Bama, OSU and FSU (guys leaving for the NFL-not injuries) can take the blow of losing a players to an injury because they've stockpiled their teams with top level talent.

I disagree. OSU recruits at an elite level and surrounded him with top level talent. That's what top 5 teams do. It's why they can suffer injuries and still be ok. They have depth and surround inexperienced players with experience and talent.

Interestingly, Shea wanted an Ohio State offer and I don't believe ever got one. I wonder what would happen if they pushed hard for him? He's an Ohio Native.
