I believe, according to players, Tanner had Five Points as off limits for his baseball team.

Rumor has it that there are a lot of Tuskegee students living at that complex. They hop on I85 and commute to college from Auburn.

Tragic news. Prayers are with the family.

If they hop on I85, they're going to Montgomery or Atlanta. Tuskegee is straight down South College.

Sounds like that guy Markale should have been locked up a long time ago. This is truly a tragedy, and not just because he was a football player with great potential.
Prayers for the Mitchell and Auburn family.

Ayanna Hughuley, 17, said Mitchell was in the middle of an argument with a man in the parking lot when a third man pulled a gun early Sunday, according to the AP. "He just started shooting. Jakell fell on the ground and he tried to get back up and run, and then he fell again. He started shooting at Jakell again while Jakell was on the ground," Hughuley told the AP.

If convicted, the people of Alabama will provide food, shelter, and clothing for the shooter for decades. He will live in a climate controlled environment, probably with TV and exercise equipment.

never know, he could drop the soap in the shower and choke to death on duck meat. I believe in miracles.

They're going to provide all that stuff either way. Some might feel that with the death penalty, they at least won't have to worry about him getting out and killing again (even if it takes a while to kill him).

Yep. But from a fiscal standpoint, it's cheaper to house an inmate for life than the Death Penalty. Screwed up system we have.
Prayers to his family

Yeah, if you want to drive 45 the whole way. They can easily hop on 85s and get off at exit 38. It's 2 miles longer and you don't have to worry about getting stuck behind a tractor.

Hopefully he gets the death penalty so we don't have to foot his food and housing bill the next 60 yrs.
