Only reason I go through is heading to Lake Martin from Atlanta. Cross over 280 at Camp Hill.

I would sue the property management company for negligence if it is in fact so lax with who loiters there, considering the deaths in the recent past. If it is in fact gated, it appears they have done a horrible job of controlling access.

I wouldn't be shocked if there are new rules about not going there anymore.

I just don't know how you enforce those rules.

With you on this, just don't know how you can enforce it.

Seriously? Enforce it like you enforce any other rule. In the big picture of things, not getting murdered is a helluva lot more important than going to class. You can enforce class attendance, right? Then enforce this too. The next player that is seen at that complex, run his arse to the top of Jordan Hare and down again until he drops. Then when he gets up, run his arse again. These kids' parents deserve to know that you're gonna do everything you can to keep their kids safe.

How are they going to see them at the complex though? Have some staff member hang around all day/night?

No, but you act on what comes to your attention. Even if it's just a rumor. Lay down the law. If they bitch, run their arse again.

I was pulling a two axle trailer through Skegee five years ago and hit something in the road puncturing two tires. I decided to chain the trailer to a utility pole at a gas jobbers' lot. The next morning when I came back with an extra tire, my lock and chain were the only two things left! Tuskegee has been a shithole a loooong time.

So you're saying if you're a player and a coach came up to you and said, "Get ready to run. I heard a rumor you were here" that you aren't going to tell them you weren't?

I just can't understand the lack of value placed on life by some people, their own wasted in prison and the life snuffed our without a second thought. So many questions about what this guy must think and feel on a daily basis. What made him like this? Crazy to imagine this type of thinking.

Well said, I wonder this same thing when events like this happen.

If Malzahn told the players not to go, they would be taking a pretty big gamble by going anyway. The parties are obviously going to be at night and primarily from Thursday-Saturday. You could send a staff member to check around those times. It doesn't have to be every week. Just often enough that the players know it is possible that somebody could check. I would also hope some leaders of the team would also tell the coaches. If you don't have anyone who would tell, then you have recruited the wrong players

My trailer was stolen in Tuskegee. Right up the road from where Motown
lived apparently. Thank goodness the Tuskegee PD is still looking for it.

Snitches get stitches. Seriously though, I'm not snitching on a teammate / friend for going to a damn party. It's college you're supposed to have a good time.

What about non-athlete Auburn students? Who watches out for them?

I was talking about this incident, this complex? Not sure what Tuskegee has to do with this.
