I don't understand why it's irrational to think that the difference in losing by 39 points combines vs 7 points combined out weighs a head to head. Especially when the head to head was by 3 points. Seems irrational to think otherwise. I'm just here to lap up the tears.

I don't remember the resumes or where each team was ranked at the time but I wouldn't have a problem with it if the resume warranted it.
I've always been of the opinion that one loss should not automatically mean that a team plummets in the rankings and that one win should not automatically mean a team skyrockets in the rankings.

I know you probably blocked it out of your memory. Hell, I barely remember it in a bourbon haze and I've done my best to forget. LSU got demolished by Auburn. That is what is holding us back. I don't like it but it makes sense.

Well understand this......you have virtually no chance to win the SEC....LSU has a very legit chance. Also understand this, LSU beats bama and they will jump both you and bama, deservedly so. You have beaten ONE team that is even worth a shite this year....one.....

Michigan State looked competitive in that game and looked like they might be in control at one point in the second half. LSU was outgunned from the get-go.
ETA: Michigan State also only has one loss.
