The NCAA had an opportunity to do something great, but they shite the bed... Again.

Ole Miss being thoroughly outplayed by LSU and still in the top 4 is evidence that the "committee" either doesn't watch games or that it's a bigger political circle jerk than the BCS ever dreamed of being.

I believe the committee looked at all of the one loss teams and decided who was number 4 based off who has looked the best THROUGHOUT THE SEASON and not just based off last week. We have the best win out of any of the other one loss teams left out.

What you clearly don't understand is that this committee just opened the door for even a two loss SEC Champ to be assured a spot in the playoff.

All we learned about the committee tonight is that they have the SEC West as the ultimate division in football so they can now justify (if they need to) letting even two SEC West teams into the playoff.

Before tonight I was worried that politics would give the Big and Pac and Big8 and ACC champs auto ins if they just finished with one loss.

I'm not so worried now.

Great sign for the SEC.

Ha. If it isn't played in Death Valley at night, Ole Miss wins by 17. That's probably how the playoff committee saw it as well. #rushthefield

Committee operating in a spirit of cooperation.

OM and Auburn don't matter any at all until next week. One of them will absolutely fallout of top 4 Saturday night and the other will solidly belong there for another week.

It has been said, so shall it be written.
