I like to think that Jack and Stan orchestrated the Landmass Uprising.

Bernard of Chartres used to compare us to dwarfs perched on the shoulders of giants. He pointed out that we see more and farther than our predecessors, not because we have keener vision or greater height, but because we are lifted up and borne aloft on their gigantic stature.

I knew Stan pretty well and he was a great guy. Can only imagine Jack was as well from the way MSU fans speak about him. Both dying this year and the year both our programs are having almost feels like the sports Gods feel our loss as well.

Cristil was one of a kind. I'd tune in to listen to him even though I didn't care about the game. He was classic.

I'd give anything to be able to hear Jack call one of our games this year

Great post. I thought this earlier last week. But there are other gentlemen and ladies who are similarly dedicated to MSU and Ole Miss and I'm happy for them.
