Your retarded LT lost that game for you. An intentional trip on a play not even designed to go near you?

That's just dumb. The momentum swing from that was enormous.

Brandon Allen was the #5 pro style QB. Can't get much higher than that in a class.

Regardless, Ty Storey is the guy I'm betting on will get it done. I think Allen will start next year and then Ty will beat out Allen 2.0 and Peavey for the starting job in '16.

"Knowing how to win" is indeed "a thing," but I think FaWx has the details wrong.

You can have a "winner" in any system, be it HUNH, Option or Wishbone. And players well-suited to any of those systems will gravitate to that system.

The keys in "knowing how to win" are expeience and confidence. The former produces the latter.

In our former homes (SWC and Big-12), it was easier. Your league schedule had its share of quasi-cupcakes, so you could gain experience against something other than Lamar or SMU (no offense to them). They always had a CHANCE of beating you, so the wins provided some confidence.

Much harder in the SEC-W.

How is BA winging passes in to the endzone bad luck? He's playing up to his potential, in an offense suited for handing the ball off.

Ohhh...it's not. BTW, I didn't really disagree with anything you said. BA has been the downfall of our offense the last two years. Although improved, he makes multiple critical mistakes every game and gets much worse with the pressure on. Nothing against the kid. I know he'd love nothing more than to be the greatest QB in college football history and I damn sure want him to be too. And he is our best option at the current time. That's why his back up from last year is playing tight end now. And quite well.

Fair enough. I haven't defended FaWx in this thread, though

He could definitely use a bit of an attitude adjustment, but you must remember that the bulk of the posters on this site (for all 14 teams) are not much more than children. Many, many of them have a lot of maturity still to attain.

I had to sit next to my friend, a aggie fan in his shirt, last night at a delta waterfowl banquet. Wife said he changed shirts only after they tied it and went to over time. She's a lifetime hog fan. He had a ticket that won a gun. She gave it to me. Muahaahahahhaahaha!!!! Even though we lost....I still won bitches!!! At the detriment of one of you guys!!!

still has the sadz though. You'd think after 40 years of this shite I'd be used to it.

I did call it in the game thread though when we went up by 14 and some of our younger fans were writing down the W. Like I said then, I've been fricked hoggy style through the heart too damn many times to celebrate until the game is over. And even then I'll wait to see it in the paper just to be for sure.

And some of us are old enough to know better, but just dickholes at heart.

I don't see the problem with his post. Unfortunately, I agree.

Arkys OC will be fired at the end of the season. I simply have no explanation for his playcalling against AU the second half.

I get roasted for this anytime I bring it up, especially by members of Arkansas sports media. Chaney will be trying to get back in the NFL after this season. Apparently there's extra money for him in a pension or a retirement plan if he's an NFL employee for a certain number of years more. The reason Chaney took the Arkansas job is Bielema's track record of assistants getting hired by NFL teams. Chaney's stock was about as low as it could get having been on Dooley's Tennessee staff.

My fear is he can talk Pittman into giving the NFL a try too.

Not the only penalty of his that negated a big play either.

So when does he plan on GTFO? Because the guy calling plays most of the time for Bret at Wisconsin Paul Chryst looks like he might be available at seasons end

I would fire Chaney yesterday if it meant we could get Chryst.

Same here I was nervous as hell during the drive in the 4th where we could have iced the game. Seen it too many damn times before. Not just w/ the Hogs but all sports. Especially the NCAA tournament, underdog plays well, favored more talented teams shoots self in foot, they finally get it together and get mad and focused, the underdog gets scared and can't believe they're about to win, they start making mental errors and pressing to not make errors and stop being aggressive and playing the way that got them the lead.

At least I doubled my money, but frick sports, I've got to break this addiction and use the time to study, work, or improve my art, or work my financing networks. Wasting my life attaching it to a cursed program.

One more first down on that drive and the game was over. Then Allen dropped the fricking snap. I've never been more frustrated with a Hog game then at that point in time. We had them broken and then it was over in the blink of an eye.

Oh man, Chryst's team at PITT is as hot/cold as any team as I've ever seen.

I bet on Akron yesterday only because PITT played good their last game out.

Count me in w/ Chesh. If we could get Chryst, that would be huge. Him and Bielema worked really well together. Hopefully Chryst's ego wouldn't get in the way. OC in the SEC can get you back where you want to be. Look at Kiffin.
