Is "knowing how to win" a thing?

I say, "yes". In 2011, A&M lead every opponent, sans one, by double digits at some point in the game. Most of those being halftime leads. A&M finished 6-6. There were disastrous collapses almost every week. Arkansas getting lucky at Jerry World being one that particularly disgusts me. I remember the head coach on the sidelines staring in to his playbook oblivious to the lost faces around him screaming, "holy fricking shite I can't believe this is happening again".
Arkansas looked like they knew they were going to lose in OT. It was over the second A&M tied it up. Arkansas has done nothing but lose big games against good opponents for 2 years and that's all they know. Brandon Allen might run their offense well, but he doesn't seem to have the winner's gene. He is a bus driver. Which I think could be a perpetual downfall of Bret. Good QBs want to play in a wide open offense, and unless a Russell Wilson is looking to transfer every year, I think they could face LSU/tDecline-like QB struggles with great frequency.
For Arkansas to be successful moving forward they need to get lucky with a proven winner at QB. Otherwise they'll never know how to win.

So what you're saying you have to run the air raid to get good QB prospects to eventually win games? Quickly call Nick up let him know. Someone tell Gus no more DBs at the QB spot.

Every QB on our roster is a 4* as is our current commit for '15. Short of landing one of the very few 5* prospects, I'm not sure of what more you can ask.

Good coaching has a lot to do with that. Second half adjustments clearly in the OP were not in the favor of aTm. 2013 AU team. We made stellar adjustments & blew teams out of the water. Arkys OC will be fired at the end of the season. I simply have no explanation for his playcalling against AU the second half.

Yes it is. There's a doubt that creeps in when you haven't had much success. Just like winning teams never lose faith. Losers just know something bad is about to happen. It becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. MSU and LSU games last year. The game last night. And not just the players. The coaches start playcalling not to lose...and we all know what happens next.

I don't have a dog in the fight.
Just think yesterday should be a bit of a wake up call for some of the Aggies round here.
..and really TBird? You're better than the typical "LOLUMAD herpderp" poster

Arkansas and Tennessee proved this Saturday.... a culture of losing can be hard to shake when games are tight.

I know what happens next! Aggies win! Aggies win!

How so? We weren't the ones making thread after thread after thread about how we were going to roll Arkansas. The "sailing" was magnificent last week, but turnabout is fair play whether you like it or not. Hell, most of us Ags have given Arkansas effusive props.

I can throw it right back with the best of 'em when it's being dished out.

Low four star and high four star are different.

This. We beat ourselves. Yes, the aggies dropped a few balls. They forget about our two fumbles, two fumbled snaps, multiple drive killing and TD negating penalties, BA winging every other pass into the bleachers etc. They should be glad we're cursed. I'm sure now more than ever that Frank Broyles sold the Razorbacks souls to the devil in return for his sweet arse Georgia accent and a membership at Augusta National.

I would rather your fan base on here just be like Manzielathon(sp?). It makes it much easier to be mad and melt when the opponents are dicks about the win

Fair, but I'm not dishing it out towards you. Your Aggie brotherly love is making you defend Tele. I'm expressing all of my hatred solely towards him.
He's just the worst. Yes you Telefawx. You're the worst poster on the SECrant.

Halfhearted "great game (fill in the blank)" threads are lame anyway

How is BA winging passes in to the endzone bad luck? He's playing up to his potential, in an offense suited for handing the ball off.
