K State will not score more than two touchdowns.

Our defense takes time to spool up but when they do, they can play. See whole second half against Arkansas for reference.

I honestly believe Arkansas is a better team than K State.

I wouldn't go so far as to say they won't score more than two touchdowns. AU gave up 13 to San Jose State and SJSU also missed a field goal and had two 10+ play drives well into AU territory stopped by interceptions.

You're playing on the road and Bill Snyder is easily one of the best coaches of all time. I expect he will have figured out a few inventive ways to exploit your defense. They'll put some points up early and I wouldn't be shocked to see the game tied or K-State even leading at the half.

But after that, everything else you said is spot on. Auburn does a very good job of making defensive adjustments at halftime, K-State really isn't very good (Arky may indeed be better), and they don't have the players to hold up against AU's running game.

The second half will be a blood bath. AU wins 56-28.

Honestly I think whatever team wins the west only has 1 loss, everyone else will have 2.

What is your point? Holding San Jose State to 13 points is pretty good if you look at all the points they scored last year. Fresno Sate won 11 games last year and San Jose State scored 62 points against them

Correct. Our defense has given up 1 TD in 6 quarters.

Wasnt that with their QB that was drafted to an NFL team?

Not to disprove your point, because I thought AU did fine defensively against SJSU.

Would last year's Fresno team win a game in the SECw this year?

Well if you are not an AU fan, then your co-worker is ignorant.

Maybe you should not have been flying that conference flag all season riding AUs coattails.

you consider the 45 yard line well into AU territory? and the other drive came with 6 minutes left in the game with Auburn up 59-13.

yeah, taken in the 6th round. 5th year senior is their starter now.

Last year matters now? Ok, then scratch everything I wrote. Since K-State was decent last year, I guess that means they've got a great chance to win the Auburn game this year. Also, since last year matters SJSU gave up over 40 points five times last year to powers like Navy and Wyoming so that means that AU's offense is nothing special this year.

As far as THE POINT. I know it will be hard, but try to follow the logic: In two games at home you've given up a good bit of yards and points in the first half. Now you're going on the road against a great coach. It is more than reasonable to expect that you will once again give up yards and points in the first half.

You're going to win the game easily, but nothing about Auburn's performance thus far suggests that you're going to shut down Kansas State.

With two conference championships since 1989. K. I'm not convinced.

No disrespect intended but I don't think there's a coach in the country as overrated as Snyder from year to year. I keep hearing how great he is and then K State does something great once every ten years. I realize the man gets a lot of credit for doing more with less, but less is still less. Auburn has the high end of a large talent gap and I'd venture that Malzahn is a better X's and O's coach (which isn't an insult, I think he's better than 90% of the coaches out there).

55-17 Auburn.

Says the guy who's fellow fans are using a team's performance last year with an NFL-quality quarterback as evidence of that team's offensive potential this year.

Bunch of touchy folks today. I predicted a 28 point Auburn win on the road against a top-20 team and they're still mad.
