There would be at least one thread about #5 if he had sucked as hard as Frost did Sat. 0 tackles or assists is pretty pathetic for a lb against a running football team. How much longer until Tre or Swain start getting the majority of the reps? It's a shame. He is a great athlete but just doesn't have the instincts to play LB.

Did he miss simple tackles? Did he get blown up by guys half his size? Did he arm tackle and spend most of his time chasing guys he couldn't dream of catching?

I didn't really pay attention to him.

That seems almost impossible for a LB.

I will give the Higs O-line some credit they did a great job getting to the 2nd level in the first half. Frost,Whitehead take poor angles and play too high.

He was not good. Hopefully, one of the new guys will take his place soon.

He played fine. He recorded 3 hurries which is more than any other player on the team. His role Saturday was primarily to rush the passer and the stat sheet shows it.

ETA: AL.com explains his involvement in the game

quote:

Kris Frost did a lot of blitzing from his linebacker spot; in the first half, he moved up to the line of scrimmage several times to attack the quarterback, which is why he produced a team-high three quarterback hurries.

Our depth at LB is terrible. I don't see how the staff thinks Holland is a "luxury"

0 tackles? Obviously we were getting gashed in the first half but 0 tackles seems impossible for as much as he played. I guess he's part of the problem

I was glad to see Swain come in. Frost had several 1-1 opportunities to tackle the RB for a loss or no gain and missed every one of them.
