Born in Arkansas. Moved to Texas at age 5 and have lived here since. Went to Baylor undergrad(free) and a UT system medical school

But I went to my first Hog game at age 3 when we still lived in LR. And growing up in C Texas I was the only Arkansas fan I knew (I'm 52.) I've fought many a fight back in the day when somebody bad-mouthed the Hogs.

So being an Arkansas fan was and is all that I've ever known. I share it with my entire family.

I love Texas and have a Texas-born wife and 5 Texan kids. Wife has grown to love the Hogs as have my children.

I'd love to have a degree from Arkansas but it wasn't meant to be. If this makes me less "fan-worthy" then so be it

I couldn't give less of a damn what others may think.

I love college football. Mostly for this exact reason.

There are two tiers of fans

1. Those that attended the college
2. Those that didn't

Don't misunderstand, it doesn't mean you can't root for whatever school you want. Just understand your place sidewalkers.

Born in OKC, so I grew up an OU fan. Parents got a divorce, and we moved to South Carolina when I was 8. I was the only Sooner fan in a sea of Garnet,Black, Orange, and Purple. USC and Clemson really didn't do for me. Nothing against the schools, just didn't have an interest in them. I probably would've ended up going to OU or USC if an Alabama representative hadn't come to my school my Junior year. She gave me some information about the school, I fell in love with Bama that day and haven't looks back since.

Born and raised in Minnesota, undergrad at SDSU, grad at UNC

Loyalty goes to SDSU, then UNC. I still pay attention to the Gophers mediocrity.

My dad went to law school at UGA after graduating Emory undergrad.

My two older sisters went to UGA as well.

I'm now an incoming freshman at UGA

Grew up a Georgia fan. My grandfather played for Georgia from 1958-1961. Played with Fran Tarkenton and Pat Dye. He was roommates with Loran Smith. He had Herschel Walker stay at the house I live in now for a weekend. Was very good friends with Vince Dooley. Vince Dooley sent me a baby gift when I was born, some little bulldog slippers, still have them.

I did grad school at UNC too. My loyalties are pretty much in the same order. Vandy, then UNC. Exception: I'd pull for Ole Miss if they're playing UNC, since, given that half my family either attended or cheers for OM, I have a certain fondness for the Rebels.

Of course, I'll never pull for those scumsucking racist sons-of-bitches if they're playing Vandy.

And my kids damned well better find a cheaper place to graduate from because I'm saving up for a retirement filled with leisure and a succession of high-priced call girls.

And this is why I'm a sidewalker. Vandy is just too damned expensive if your family has money but aren't willing to spend it on your education. Should have lived with my best friend in high school for two years. He actually gets a check from them to pay for books and stuff. And is still a UT fan. Why am I friends with him?

So you have no actual connection to the university of any kind just a fan huh? You must have been a joy during some of the Shula years.

Grandmother and Grandfather went to LSU.

Mother went to LSU.
Dad played football at LSU from 86-90.

I and my wife have degrees from LSU.

My sister is currently enrolled. My 2nd sister already has a scholarship there from the Charlie Mac Foundation.

It's a family thing.
