So AJ Herpa Derp is a TE, back up QB, or both?

Bielema: If we played tomorrow & B. Allen got hurt, AJ Derby would be the guy. But I’m excited to see the growth of A. Allen & Peavey.
Hopefully, BA doesn't get hurt. Also, doesn't sound like AA is making headway for the backup.

I think the general situation is that, like you said, AA hasn't put it together yet, and that Peavey needs a year (and ideally wouldn't burn the redshirt).
They keep mentioning how far ahead of the others BA is. I'm starting to think its more for his confidence than reality. I hope, at least.

Well if Allen does get injured, hopefully our receivers don't all suck arse like they did last year.

Soooo... Is this a recruiting or player development problem? Sure they are rated by services and a 5* is GOAT but with these elite quarterbacks we have been getting what is the staff doing for them?
(I know our current QBs aren't 5 * just using it as comparison)

I think they just send these poor fellers out there with a lunchable and a capri sun and tell them their new daddy will be by to pick them up. Nobody ever shows up and state officials get involved and there's a lot of trust and abandonment issues right now. The whole place is going to hell in a hand basket if you ask me. Just terrible things we are doing to the talent on this team.

AJ is the designated trick play expert.

Well this should go over well on the message boards.

Did AA redshirt last year?

This was pretty well covered back during SEC media days for several days in a row

It's no secret that Austin Allen is a flop.
He will likely head to UCA after this season.

Hunter S. Thompson gifs could definitely describe the Razorback fanbase (at least on this site) the last couple seasons.

It looks just like Hunter S Thompson but it's actually Jim Lahey from Trailer Park Boys. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if Thompson was an inspiration for the character.

Yeah, and I kinda got the impression of Rafe after hearing a few interviews that he was gonna def need a redshirt to adjust. Some kids just need a year to mature.
Going forward with Rafe and Storey I feel pretty good about the 15-18 seasons though.
Honestly though, it seems like 9 out of 10 times are higher rated QB's flop, Mallet being the exception. I guess Wilson was pretty well thought of

Rafe has a nice arm and seems pretty quick when he runs, but he definitely looked like a guy that needs a year to learn the playbook and adjust to the speed of college defensive backs.

I thought that when I heard that BA went to work with Weinke at IMG and no word of AA going. Why not send both of your sons?
