Are we going to even have enough people on D to start the season? I mean shite, I'm out of shape and could lose 50 LB's and haven't played since high school but shite. I’m 6'5" and I'll be proud to don the glorious red and black. Before long posters on this board are going to have to play. This shite's getting old. frick it I'll do it, put me in coach. I'll run out of bounds at the SC game and lay a hit on the Old Ballsack (aka Spurrier for those not in the know) just for pay back for the 90's.

Thought they were under a social media ban for underclassmen?

I'm actually impressed with the kids stamina, He got popped at 5 am. If anything , this is S&C success story.

This is why you oversign nothing more, nothing less than the simple reality of the situation.

Don't they have an orientation where it's hammered home that ACCPD makes its living off the DWI/zero tolerance laws?

Maybe each player should be required to spend a night in the drunk tank as a pre-enrollment criteria...

This. Attrition for a variety of reasons is a reality. It's not really over-signing when you KNOW you are going to have positions open by the time the season starts.

Me too....and I could get up to 250 pretty quick if I needed to. I'm only 20 yrs past my football prime but would be 120% for at least a couple of plays a half.

Problem is if you put me back in Athens I'd probably get a DUI too....

I'm hearing that players have been banned from going downtown and that a zero tolerance policy may be put into place.

When Miles Fratington III gets a DUI....is he a thug too?

Miles' daddy at Goldman, Goldman, and Fratington told him to refuse the breathalizer and simply lose his license for 6 months.

Daddy Fratington calls in a favor and young Miles gets a work/school permit for 6 months.

A couple years later they are all down in Destin, laughing about it.

Oh how they laugh....

Question:

Is Clarke County one of the areas in Georgia where you no longer can refuse a sobriety test?

pretty standard to get a school/work permit for a DUI. don't really need any favors.

Correct barbie.

Georgia law is now automatic 6 month license suspension if you refuse test.

Unless Dad calls in a favor.

Gatahata9, do the knowledge.

It's absolutely mandatory jail time? I've had a couple of friends get one and they must have done it subtlety

Yes. I didn't get a holding cell either. I had to strip nekkid, put on a jumpsuit, grab a mattress and head to a pod in ACC population. Sucked.
