I live 20 minutes from Tryon. If it's the one on the border of SC/NC you are talking about.. If so Sidestreet Pizza is the best!

yea to me, 69,173, is a "town".
I apologize if you're from the backwoods or a smaller town, but IMO St. Augy is definitely a town.

For Arky I would definately classify Fayetteville in this category and it would have to win. Great town. Hot springs is also cool.

This is true. But I thought Fayetteville might be disqualified due to the metropolitan area.

If 70,000 is a town I've lived in some motherfricking hamlets.

Yeah, I see what you mean, but it still is its own "town" IMO

Hot Springs is meh. Too much ghetto, IMO

I prefer a bit of ghetto for perspective.

I'd say Fayetteville if not too big then Eureka Springs if we're talking super small

I have to board a flight to NWA, so Fayetteville fits I believe. Thats a good thing.

Yeah I think NWA is unique in that the towns (for now) still have their own identities. Bentonville is very underrated, IMO. Lots of good restaurants, art museum, great schools great square/downtown area.

I certainly loved going to school in Fayetteville and still love visiting. I'll add it.

Hot Springs is a nice enough town I guess. I honestly haven't spent that much time there. I knew some kids in college as they struck me as ghetto-tards. Lots of different school districts, and they have some crime.

I'll have to go if I ever make it back up that way. It's just so far out of the way for anything

For TN, id say Franklin. My brother in law lives in Brentwood, and Franklin is close and has a very cool little area.

My home state is Hawaii.

Other than Oahu county (Honolulu, Pearl City), take your pick.

small towns to me leaves out the NW Arkansas Corridor..

Small towns in Arkansas I love.. Heber Springs, Mt. View...

Beautiful lakes, pristine rivers and creek beds. Small mouth, trout fishing, floating, etc..

Beaufort, SC is nice. For Mississippi I would have to say either Oxford or Brookhaven.

In my current home state? Pinehurst or Cary. The latter is a suburb of Raleigh and quite nice, while the former is a very nice small town with enough money that it isn't provincial.

Actually, NC has quite a few really nice small towns.
