Whats the nicest SMALL TOWN (not city) in your state?
It CAN be a college town (if you think its the nicest town in your state).
The reason I ask is because I love small towns with good people and good vibes. I live in the south and I'd like to visit some towns that I've never heard of.
My home state is Florida, and IMO.. St. Augustine, FL is the nicest "small town" I've been to.
WBU?

How big we talking?
I'd say Fayetteville if not too big then Eureka Springs if we're talking super small

St. Augustine is awesome. I'd be biased if I said Oxford, because I went to undergrad here and now live and work here, but it's just true. Don't believe me, ask all of the national publications. That said, there are probably several other nice towns in MS, but batesville, my hometown, isn't one of them. MS only has towns by the way. I lived in Jackson and that place is not close to a city.

I don't consider F-Ville to be a city. the only "city" in Arky IMO is Lil Rock, and its a SMALL city

Just got back from a vacation in Highlands, NC and it was a cool little town. Better than any other I've been to in NC.

I am from Waveland/Bay Saint Louis, MS and loved it. Would say that Pass Christian, MS is the best small town in Mississippi. Besides football in the fall, Pass Christian is better than Oxford.
Even though I went to a private school, Pass Christian High is the best public school in the entire state. Literally on the Gulf, and only 45 minutes from New Orleans, and 25 from Biloxi.

Starkville. Love it, miss it. God get me out of Tupelo.

The people's town. Nice. Tupelo sucks so bad. My brother in law took a job there after residency, just to be close to home. Moved within a year it was so miserable. You never hear anyone singing praise about tupelo
