Are you suggesting the HUNH is a healthier offensive scheme alternative?
Absolutely. No fattys allowed!

That changes every year to fit the personnel.
That's the most significant thing, and sometimes amazing thing to me.
And a big key. First you have to have a coach smart enough to gauge what fits the talent best. Second, you have to build an offense around that talent and maximize the talent. Thirdly, you have to get the kids buy in on it. Without any one of these conditions you are in trouble. Malzahn was able to do this the first year he was head coach. (Getting the team to buy in) I realize he was at Auburn, before...but first time as a head coach.

That's ok. I really like Richt. I am pulling for things to finally fall into place for him. I respect Malzahn. Auburn will be good for a lot of years to come because of him. Auburn made a great choice and will do well for a long time to come.
Am Georgia 1st. SEC 2nd.
So, indirectly Auburn's success is good for me too. I don't even really dislike any other teams in the SEC. But I am a Georgia fan first.

He is an offensive mastermind. I love the apparent simplicity of his schemes. The chess match defensive coordinators will have with him in coming years will be fun to watch.
That said...I wouldn't trade Richt for any coach in America, national championship or not.
