The Dude is obviously an idiot and deserved to be fired for even claiming he "wrongholed".(he certainly seems to have picked up on the local vernacular) However, it seems that's not why he was fired. He apparently was fired for the hanging of the flag

He also boasted on facebook about purposely making questionable welds. This has just come out.

Texas A&M didn't fire this guy. This guy worked for a contractor that is under pressure to get a job finished safely and on time.
The contractor fired this guy for screwing off and purposely doing something the contractor knew would piss off his client.
If this guy has actually done the things he was bragging about on facebook he is now going to jail.

Either he did it and is a horrible person or he is a liar that thinks its funny to make people think they could die if they attend a football game.
