He was a crane operator.
He wasn't in the position to do much of what he claimed.
But there was no way his boss wasn't going to fire him.
I'm not suggesting you read through the pages of his bizarre boasts on Facebook; but the guy is an imbecile.
His actions went far beyond a "flag prank."

He admitted to mis-hanging pieces of metal. It was deliberate, and it was stupid.

I don't for one second believe he was in the position to get away with half of the stuff he claimed

This guy admitted he deliberately sabotaged a $450 million dollar project in hopes of it not being ready for next season. That's a whole new level of gumptarding
quote:
His fellow workers will have to fix his mess, his company will have to worry about potentially paying penalties for delayed construction, and he could wind up in jail

This guy must have an IQ between 40 and 50
Sabotaging a public building can cause you to need soap on a rope.

It's always something from the Alabama madhouse, every year.
And with every incident, the Alabama apologists step to the fore.
- Updyke: "It's just a tree!"
- Teabagger: "He was drunk."
- Murderer: [crickets]
- Crazy Mother: "She was drunk."
- Flag Hanger: "It was just a harmless prank."
Excuses, excuses, excuses. Every year, more excuses, about more crazy gumptard fans.

I'm sure the crane company was thinking that some idiot employee just put their company at risk of being thrown off a job site. So yea, no big deal. Should have just written him up.
Surprised it took this long for someone to hit the nail on the head. This was about contract money not safety. Some really ignorant people on here.
Yeah. I'm sure aTm is going to dismiss their primary contractor - on a job with an incredibly tight deadline - over some mouth-breathing Gump hanging a flag off of a light fixture.
Bubba logic at it's best.

Maybe he will learn something from this. I very seriously doubt it because people in general do not
Harmless? Yea pretty much. But he should have known it was not a good thing to do and should have stopped and thought about it

Sadly agree. Back when we sucked, shite like this was contained mostly in Alabama and it was usually the Barners that did it.

Expect some form of legal action taken against him by weeks end.
So this guy is fired by hyper sensitive Ags for a harmless prank and now they are hiring lawyers to soothe their severe red azz on some trumped up charge of "wrongholing".

Technically he claimed on his facebook he was sabotaging the project. Eerily similar to Updyke calling in Finebaum. Alabama has the worst fans on the planet.

Geauxld ! I congratulate you on your warm fuzzy feelings to our red state friends to the east. I didn't know you shared my admiration for those Skoal Drool Things.
Also, you forgot one:

i will admit i thought the firing over the flag was silly, but in lue of everything else - he got what he deserved.

he better hope NOTHING is wrong with the stadium now b/c the blame is going to be directed squarely on him regardless of if its really his fault or not.
claiming things like he purposely did questionable welding could easily set him up for being implicated in a murder trial due to his admitted negligence if the worst case scenario of a deadly failure occurred.

The article said he was fired for hanging the flag. The other "evidence" was uncovered afterward by the litigious 12th man legal eagles to spin the fallout

It seems he was more focused on that than doing his job. Which is what I would have a problem with if I was his boss.

This is my point, do you want this person building anything for you? Who knows what he did or didn't do on purpose, that was entirely screwed up. If you say he's being made an example of that's fine, he should be made an example of, and if he were the "good guy" some have claimed, he wouldn't be dumb enough to lose the means of support for his children with such stupidity.
