Dawgs are the season opener on ESPN for Super Tuesday against Arkansas and also got the last super tuesday game of the year against kentucky. Both home games. Great opportunity for exposure on national tv. should be exciting games.

TV schedule came out for conference basketball games. Dawgs have 5 games on ESPN or CBS, 1 on FSN, 7 on SEC Network and the rest on ESPNU. That is a ton of national coverage for the program. Have some success and some good home crowds adn that will really help change our reputation. SEC network could be huge for SEC basketball in particular. that doesn't account for any nonconference national tv games which we will have at least a few.

11 pages is hell of a lot better than some especially considering how shitty the basketball team is year in and year out. Hell, the Braves page was up twice as long and barely made it to 16pages. I enjoy seeing the recruiting updates but I guess they could be posted under the football recruiting section but who cares really?

Clemson weekend is a big one for the hoops dawgs. Tevin Mack is visiting (and again Sept. 20th) and Cheathem are visiting for that one. I like our chances with Mack.
Sounds like we still have as good of a shot as anyone with Malik Beasley but he will be taking a lot of visits with all the offers he has racked up recently.
Anuoby is the one i'm excited about. Kid from up here in my area narrowed his list down to 7. interesting group with a few big ten schools and us and Ole Miss from the SEC. Would be a good, athletic pickup at the 4 spot.

Well, gents, I hate to agree with barbs but while some enjoy this thread it really isn't getting enough traffic to justify it. So I think we'll un-sticky it and let it float to the top whenever yall have more questions or discussions. Maybe we can sticky it once basketball starts back up but really, unlike the Falcons/Braves threads, nothing really stops anyone from making a new bball thread.

Not that it really matters, but not sure why it's an issue to have a basketball thread stickied.......
There are 20 slots on the first page for new threads and having 4 stickies isn't a big deal. That leaves 16 for new shite. Just makes it easier to find. Basketball, football recruiting, and Another sticky is not bad...

I don't want it in the football one. I'd rather have bball in one place where it's easy to follow. I always read new posts here and don't usually click on the football one more than once every couple weeks
