I got a bottle of Noah's Mill yesterday and I must say, it's delicious. Over 100 proof and still smooth.

I have a bottle of that laying around. Good stuff. One of the most complex bourbons out there. If you like Noah's Mill, try Rowans Creek next. Promise you be back in a week buying multiple bottles. I'll drink Rowan's creek before Pappy's 15year

I didn't mean you asked for backup, I worded it poorly. I meant you ask why engie has none.

ah...gotcha.

Not sure I remember asking that either. I'm fully aware of why no one comes to his rescue...he's a bumbling idiot who thinks something up that could possibly have some shred of credence....and spouts it off as fact without actually researching it.

I blew about $70 there last August buying three handles of Evan Williams the morning of Red Dress Run. Good times

I'm already fighting pivey IRL at the Ole Miss v. LSU game.

If you're going to RDR this year, wanna meet up and fight IRL?

Best bargain bourbon?

Seriously? I almost got that instead of the Mill.

I went in search of Blanton's, but there seems to be a shortage.

I really want to try and do the mixing thing with the two Weller's to recreate Pappy.

AC raves about that stuff but I haven't ponied up the dough yet.

Oaky or sweet?

It's a weird combo. It's like a mix between Willett's and Rowan's.

KCD, or whatever the company is, uses a wide variety of barrels. Lots of different levels of rye-based bourbon barrels mixed, as well as some wheat barrels. Basically, a wide variety of grains are used.

It's an out-of-the-box approach.

I love this so much.....

...like...I have a borderline unhealthy relationship with it. Surprised I haven't gotten a restraining order on it.

It is incredibly smooth for a $15 bourbon.

It's too good. Four Roses is tGOAT bourbon distiller.

Pat O's, Lucky Pierre's, and, unfortunately, Bourbon Heat

The Beach is awesome.

I like the Chart Room in the FQ a lot too but it's not on Bourbon Street.

I have not made any concrete plans for RDR this year but I imagine it will be quite the shitshow.

I typically stick with that 4 roses small batch.

If I've had a really good week...I might step up to woodford reserve.

Anything celebratory typically leads me to getting a bottle of Basil Hayden and drinking it on the rocks. It's so smooth it shouldn't be legal.

Yeah, I have a pretty good bourbon collection and have had any bourbon the state of MS can get. Rowan's Creek is definitely in my top 3. Accompanied by Four Roses Single Barrel LE and Jefferson's Reserve.

Blanton's is good, but there are a lot better for much cheaper. Not to steer you away. If you like Blanton's and $$$ ain't a thing, go for it.

The Four Roses Small Batch is good, yes; if you're gonna go that route, however, pony up the extra $7 or so and get the single barrel.

I get my dad a bottle of the single barrel for Christmas every year.

It's amazing. It's like sex in a rocks glass.
