How do you pick this guy over another safety from a National Championship team like FSU, or SEC teams like LSU? The film on a guy means a hell of alot more against quality competition, not god damn wisconsin and minnesota.
Chris Mayes should transfer to Minnesota immediately, he'll be a 2nd round falcon pick in 2015.

So how low has the first UGA player taken been in the past couple of decades? I feel as though UGA has always had at least a 3rd rounder each year.

Yeah, but that's not who the Falcons picked.
The point is that even Quincy Mauger could go play at Minnesota and finish his career with a great highlight reel.

well hopefully all of those extra talent evaluators the falcons hired did their homework.
but yea Southward seemed like a reach. personally, I would have taken nix. just load up on de's and dt's and hope that some of them will work out.
