Larry did his usual Tidefans thing. I'm just enjoying the antibarner show.

Alabama has good coaches, you really think they would put a lesser player in front of the best running back in the country, regardless of past injuries. He was the most dominate player on the field even when playing hurt, watch him break it for 60 limping the whole way, not to mention breaking tackles. Gurley is a complete back, can hit the corner, up the middle, and can run all the routes and catch with soft hands, then get YAC. Yeldon might not even end up as YOUR starter, much less be ahead of a clearly better player.

Von Pearson was ranked #2 (must've dropped at some point), I'll console myself with this:

Casper a lot of that might be true, but he is NOT better than Yeldon on one leg. Which he was on most of last year.

You realize Gurley out gained Yeldon in 2013 and scored more TDs despite only playing 10 games.

2013 stats
Gurley had 1430 yds rushing and receiving scoring 16 TDs
Yeldon had 1418 yds rushing and receiving scoring 14 TDs

Also, Gurley had 20 fewer touches than Yeldon.
